The Edge Duel League #3

I'm happy and proud to announce another season of The Edge Duel League!

It will follow the time schedule mentioned in the previous news post, and since Gerdt wasn't able to run this edition of the league, I've been given the job.

The tournament layout will not be changed. There will be elimination rounds followed by a group stage, and then double-elimination playoffs.

Sign ups deadline: January 29, 24.00 CET.

The rule sheet will be altered, in the direction of the current EDL rules. I will try and publish the changes as soon as possible. One thing that all participants need to realize and be ready for, is that uploading all demos is a must. However, the map pool will stay the same. :)

That's about it for now! I love this tournament (as an observer rather than a player) and I'm very enthusiastic about seeing its progress. Hope to see you all signed up!

	Yeah, it's pretty sad none of the really good people didn't enter this tournament. BUT! It will give chances to have other players have their spot in the limelight instead.

	A lot of great Dm1 ppl missing ,but we have atleast a not bad push of ppl like Irv,Covell,Agent my favorite jest the best DDD UMD & Dm.THere is some time for other strong amount of ppl to join ,we know for example from edl ,almost every one is welcome to join in latest time

	i think it will be like in here : http://q2scene.net/edge/index.php?op=com&id=2466 the players that reach play-offs are automaticly qualified to the groupe stage,but do they need to sign in ? that is the question. (i think they need to sign in,cause it is said "the current signed players" )

That was more like "see how u need me","how wrong u was to kicked me out " Its like nubronegger to join for what ,2 play one game and leave hehehe he dont finnish one edl since he is in q2scene ...this talk about hes game attitude a lot ... 	I'd like to see maq / Aone defending their titles and thus add a certain quality uplift to the league. Swedish power mobiuz would be nice seeing again, and Finnish Osaris/Offi/Hibru would be cool, but only if they intend to stay the whole league...fins tend to quit quickly.. sof: I told him already, his last chance ! If he screws this up by some sort of lame excuse he will be a joke the rest of the time. It's not like he has a chance winning the whole thing, but rather if he manage to stay in the league before he get beat up. w/o ftw !

	i personally would like to see Zorre,slippi,gerppa,odium,welkin and thaigo,thaigo is a very good player despite his attitude. also,mirr join in and show us if you are really the best DM1 player

	Zatoichi, I haven't invited him. But he actually wanted to play last season, during his fake nick, but was detected in the Radar from a small crew lead by Chief Gerdt. thaigo easily managed to advance into playoff and then fun was over. who knows, maybe he would play till the end w/o causing trouble. ye fader, more the better ofc. let me count..hmm...pfff 30 already!

	The more players, the better the league. I could see how someone with a history of just not completing matches would be rejected, but I think more players = good.
