Simply perfect... There's nothing that I'd say that can perfectly define this movie...

I just wanted to tell you shouldn't compare a cinema movie to a frag movie.
I mean a film with story keeps the attention of the viewers for a significantly longer period than an action-only frag movie.
Well 'whattayanow I even got an e-mail recommending to download this and I wasn't dissapointed like with PFF1.
Good stuff:
-frags
-music sync
-effects.
-Skins and other ingame settings were finally OK. Oh, wait. Almost OK... the shadows suck.
Bad stuff:
-I don't know where to look at split screen parts.
-Q3 map conversions just ruin the Q2 feeling IMO.
-Too long. Remember, most people have attention span shorter than 15 mins.
-Most importantly: please next time don't include personal stuff (photos). Most people are watching the movie for the action, don't know you personally, and don't care about your real life. This too ruins the feeling of the movie for me.

MoN-SooN take a look to older q2 movies, polish ppl love all q2 movies and give 5 stars to "bad movie".
And now they finally saw real good movie, so ofcourse they think it is too short And why we talked lenght? If it is too long then we get bored and movie is not that good anymore. And yes LOTR was too long, and imo it is not that good. pff2 was better than lotr

We were working pretty hard on this one while other polish movies with frags where published one after another. PFF2 was supposde to be the major movie of q2 polish scene, so the best frags from all those recent made avis had to be included. After 9 months of work now I finally know that there are no way to please everyone, and that's the way it is and will be.
foen netquake brotherwars 2 doesnt have that song from intro. That song was in annihilation, your first thought was right.
but the intro was ready in september 2003 and it was even before annihilation's premiere. We were angry when we heard it in anni, but decided not to change anything because of shit loads of work we've done.
and about the length. all scandis say its too long, all poles say its too short. dunno why everyone talk about it. Why not make a 1,5h movie like cinema movies. Do you hate LOTR because of its length?
hmm it wasn't annihilation, but anyway it was one of the best q3 movie. Can't remember what it was...
And reason why it looked same were music syncs. And "blink" effects when railgun hits.
Maybe they haven't seen that moviet so it is ok
Finally a very good q2 movie! Deffinately as good as any q3 movie. Well maybe not...but still one of the best i have seen.
Effects were great, i specially liked when railspiral changed to q2 logo.
Only bigger minus was lenght, it was too long.
I also notice few smaller minuses and those were:
- A First song was in legendary annihilation, and effects were preatty same too. And you can't say you haven't seen it. Maybe you can but i won't believe you!
- And imo matrix effects are too old to use anymore.
Anyway this was a great movie, but you know me i always have to whine!
So 9 stars, and keep up the good work.
Now we can start waiting dimmus new movie hope it is even better than this

+music syncing is very well done, there is all type of syncing, even mood syncing

+still pictures, they fit in nicely bringing athmosphere of polish q2 scene
-some recams were clumsy
-many frags that were used in older movies

I wont say that the matrix stuff would be bad for the movie, but at any rate it didnt promote the movie in creative way. I hope this will be last time ill see matrix stuff in quake movies, because nowdays it is hard to find a movie without matrix theme.
I would recommend this movie to anyone interested in games. The frags that were made in q3-maps are nice bill for q3 players - in q2 you can frag great too

The best q2 flick i heve ever seen. No major weaknesses (though I'm no expert in video editing), except for one: it's 3 times the length needed for a good video. At first I was awed by it's greatness but when the video finally came to an end i felt bored.
Now that's not the way you want people feel, is it? Besides, cutting down the length would not only make it more watchable but also smaller in size, which would mean more donwloads in the first place.
