If you're a Q2 lover like I am, you probably have been checking this website every day for the past 3 months waiting for something to happen.

And now is the time for something to happen !

Once upon a time in the year 2003, a Finnish dude called flag

Foen asked me if I wanted to create a new league with him. That's how EQ2L was born.

10 years later, a wave of nostalgia brought us back to this league and this game.

And now, we're on a mission to NOT let this beautiful league die!

First things first, here is the playoff table:

We know it's hard to arrange these matches when everyone disapeared. So we will do it for you.
If you're a player of one of these clans, you will be contacted to check when you're available to play.

Of course, you can help by arranging your matches yourselves or contacting us.

The semi-finals must be played before the end of April. The finals must be played before the end of May.

Together, we will save this league !

	I've messaged psm to come online and hopefully he'll be the 4th missing player. I can play in the weekend, hope that bezel and xaw will be there once more. And either sofiene (depends on the injury I guess) or psm will be player number 4. 	What's up with all the sudden negativity Teioch? You seemed more enthusiastic in your first comment. Before posting this news, I made sure there was enough interest from the qualified teams to play these playoff games. There is no pressure because the league is way past its planned scheduled so I won't enter double w/o's or anything like that. The goal here is to finish what we started. Call it dignity if you want I think people still enjoy playing Q2 but they just don't want to bother with all the match arranging / server searching etc. anymore. That's one of the reason duel leagues resist better to the general inactivity. It takes less time to arrange matches involving only 2 players. But, quoting purri (I think?), there is nothing better than a 4v4 on Q2DM1! And everybody knows it, even in the other quake scenes

	Schedule the match on the site if u need me to play in tlk. And I still can't promise. I've quit the game already, so i'm not playing it anymore. will do for the sake of tlk, but need to see a schedule in time. then i may be able to connect if a 4th player is missing. tbh, i'm very unshure clans will be able to gather up and play these remaining games. I'm just being realistic. Has any1 seen the activity on the servers lately? If hardly no ordinarey tdm games are played (other than pol and rus servers), how can one expect these games to work at all? I'll not be surprised if half of these matches will end up with w/o or even double w/o! I said, i'm being realistic that's all. But shure let's stay positive.

	That is the plan indeed. Bezel, sorry but I'd rather have a clan that played most of their matches in this league like tLk to take RCN's spot instead of random players. However, if you want to join one of the clans in the playoffs, it will be allowed. Message to tLk members: can you take RCN's spot? I'll be on IRC this evening anyway. Feeble: get your team together! And if you see someone from tOk, tell them it's q2 time We'd like to give a proper ending to this season in order to put it behind us and think about the future.

	Am I dreaming? I did actually checked out this site quite often when I visited q2scene. In case.... And today, the case opened! Nice post! Hope the clans will be notified in time, and a month for a game, could actually work out since it will prolly be hard for them to set up the games. at least 8 players will have to be available at the same time..these days. But please, let Eq2l rest after this season. A BIG while! If this can be ended nicely, isn't that a nice way of ending? Let the clans recover and maybe there is chance they will return some day. At this rate by keeping re-starting the eq2l after just "a few months" will shurely kill it, and possibly the clans. Tough facts, but true. So, 2 options: save the league - or destroy it. !GL

	damn guys...why that late? we've really tried hard and all the games were even played in advance. then some clans have fucked up the whole hype that was created.. (by ourselves?) anyway...it's nice to see this post Gravgon, I thought nothing can change my attitude but your words seem to be quite motivational.. despite our clan being inactive since last eq2l game (2012?) I will try to gather my mates again. I count on the rest of teams MOST, cmon guys!
