New remake of Blood Run

The very old-school QuakeWorld map Bloodrun AKA ztndm3 was made by the best Quake mapper ever :

ZTN !
the map was ported to Quake 3 then to Quake LIVE,and finally,it has been ported to the best game ever : Quake 2 !

themuffinman realised a Q2 version made from scratch,the map is almost similar to the QL one (no stairs to RL or to HB).

There is some remake of that map in Q2 but this seems to be the best one,it was made FOR Q2,means,it is very suitable to the Q2 physics and models,the map is fun for duels and some FFA,also it is kinda balanced for 2 vs 2 games.

	psm: In ztn2dm3, going for mega means giving up your position, even if it's for about 8 seconds, and if your opponent is in the blue hall connecting mega to high SSG, he can easily steal control. In that map (or version of the map), RA and mega are RIGHT next to each other, along with chain in the bottom corridor, and RL only about 4 seconds away from RA. Not to mention mega in the central atrium was REPLACED with quad.. (EDIT: Talking about 1v1 mode with mega instead of quad, which is sometimes on for teams in the original version. Also, the original version of q3dm6 did have RA and mega beside each other, but the other version with YA is much better for 1v1 imo. Get off my nuts Vae before I call social services.) The original map was much better, it had YA where RA was, and RA where YA was, along with the mega in the main central atrium, which makes it much more balanced. I've been considering editing the map without RA and mega together, which wouldn't take any time at all, but I procrastinate too much to care. (EDIT FOR VAE'S WHINY ASS: TALKING ABOUT THE VERSION WITH RA BY RAIL.) TeiOch: This map would be great for EDL consideration, or at least other tournaments, since it's exactly like it's original predecessor, which is used in multiple tourneys in QL and Q3. 	Nice map! Tried it out yesterday, great feeling, feels it was made to Q2 for sure. The other remake isn't bad....however this one felt more authentic to q2 (the other is more a remake of q3a map ZTN3dm3, so it doesn't adapt as good). This map can't be called ztndm3 however.... 'cuz that is only valid for q3a and i guess ql; more commonly known as ztn3dm3, just as in q2 ztn2dm3 WHICH is the Rage! So not the same map. The map maker did a good choice calling it bloodrun, easy to remember too. (i guess this is the original name in qw). This map must certainly be included in the next edl, as a standard map! Was the best custom map in all Q3A competitions, especially in the fatal1ty days. I quote frikA about the arrival to q2: "hehe finally"

	Fader,what Dimmo mean is,why ztn didnt made a version of that map in q2,not a port made by someone else but by the best map maker ever = ztn. i wonder where i can find ztn tbh,maybe we can convince him to make some new maps for Q2

	Dimmo: Blood Run was made for q2 once before under the name "ztndm3q2" http://kubus.rulez.pl/files/q2/maps/!misc/ztndm3q2.zip It was a full conversion, but it wasn't as good as the original blood run. This version however, is really fun to play on, and is extremely well made.
