Only the uploader knows his motivations, if he wanted to be selfish or pretend to fake something, is sad, but if he just wanted to show a interesting or entertaining demo, good for him.
I hope the players continue uploading interesting demos, even a 1/5, because some people want to see these demos. Maybe the key would be to add in comments that earned 1/5, to avoid suspicions.

When you upload a demo where you only win one out of five or ten, it makes you look like a real egotist; it doesn't matter how many air rockets or rails through the keyhole from chain to GL you get. Just saying.
