Well...
The constant slow motions ruined the changes to get a good flow of for the movie. The widescreen made by cutting the top and bottom edges annoyed a bit. For recams it was nicer. We have nowdays ability to make real widescreen avis from demos (the final act trailer for example). The movie was really a bit too long. You could have easily cut few frags out and decrease slow motions and then the movie lenght would had been perfect.
You should have asked me or some other movie maker for advices
Good set of great frags in different maps and weapons. The graphics looked quite nice and kg2 work was well done. I wont start pointing out minuses cos you said you are not going to make another movie.
i hate so high modulate in movie - there should be maps shadows nice frags but A BIT too much with gl and slow mo ...
anyway i liked it, its not the best movies ever but its entertaining [ intro jumps rox ] :]
MS: 3 clips i think were put in twice cuz in the intro they were cut down... not full clips... so i added them again but full clips this time.. maybe that didnt work dunno

+ frags, frags, frags , .. FRAGS + trickjumps part was amazing

hmm, pols (not all ofcourse) that scandis allways put low marks and so on, but they do the same.
Just my imho.
I liked the movie, phun phrags, nice textures. The music is the weakest side though in my pov.

Just thought I'd say I loved the slow motion, cause when a movie is that long you tend to lose the focus (at least I do) and slowmotion tells me: watch out little fella, here is something happening that you might want to see. And I do.
And those jumps are sweet, especially that bfg+rl where you skyrocket into the air. Saw that in your n00bs-e-vi-allihopa.avi.
At least there are 2 of us now Let me know if you find some more though, Norwegians are hard to find (probably hiding under sg-stairs or in the sewers).

Imho this was som real eyecandy, especially the textures and the use of new effects found in q2e/egl/whatever client was used. To punish a movie for using techniques that show better graphics is just dumb. When it comes to the music I agree is wasn't the best that I'd heard, but it fits and that's the idea. One can't expect a fragmovie to contain the genre you favour.
I'll put it this way:
hfb3 > pff2 > desire
10 seems correct in my eyes since I don't give a movie lesser grade when I don't like things that are subjective as long as it fits, and because design weighs higher than effects in my book.
MS: tnx alot, well i had 3 nice trance songs. but i dont realy like to mix metal and trance.. and i think metal fits better to frag movies, trance is for trickjumps?.. but i had that on top of my list first but i took metal instead, next time MS i will
The movie brought some freshness, q2e engine and that textures might be good, but need retouch. The intro tricks were amazing and artful. What irritated me was the slow motion frames deficit. Dunno why few frags were put in the film twice (those from intro - dm3 rail and dm1 rocket for sure). Overall frags were top notch for a 1 pov movie, but i would throw out some of them to have 10 mins frag content. The 4 handgranades streak on dm5 was OMFG I DIE BTW. I wonder why scandis dont mind the movie is over 15 mins In the other hand (polish) cutting rating because of "no blood" is ridiculous.
Too bad you didnt use any trance song. I liked Twisted and Communication and I expected the third anthem.

+ at last nice skins in q2 movie since a long time!
a)didnt like the textures but green parts of maps were awesome, specially dm5! also boxes on dm8 looked very nice
b) water wasnt so bad, very peacefull, it reminds me my visit in ocean park
c) blood - maybe not so bloody but it was ok!
d) frags - many boring but 3 actions owned me:
1) handi grenades at ra room on dm5
2) railgun trought the gibs and the floor bug on dm2
3) rj on ra and another rj above the ra window DDDD on dm2
music wasnt bad besides that 2nd track with female vocal, was horrible, but last normal song [besides that "fun" at the end] was great, reminds me the old LOTUS game on AMIGA sountrack
overall i liked it, at last long!!! frag!!! movie, thats what i like! it even pushed me 2 open my box and watch my frag movie again! gg
i dont care if its a polish movie or not - i just didnt like it that much (Foen is from scandi and he didnt enjoy it 2)
and now about the movie - ive watched it for the second time and there is one more bad thing i noticed - some parts r used at least 2 times ( ie dm3 railling part)

I cant udnerstand why u are whining about the textures? its the same as the orginal but it got 32bits instead... (orginal from q2e) for me they are the same...

And then ppl whine about many rdm2 clips... if i have lots of dm1 clip LIKE POLISH MOVIES GOT u whine about that, but now i got, rdm2, dm1, dm2,ztn2dm3,q3dm17 but ppl still whines... all i can say is that Scandinavian players likes it and polish not... well...its always this way..
For me it was OK. But can't agree that was better than polish movies ... there were some several nice actions, but some of them was many missed rails, some stupid gl frags. I loved it, some really great frags, especially the gl frags. Liked the textures too, but the music wasn't too good but that's always the case so I don't mind that at all. Gonna download the other movies you made too, if the frags have the same high standard as in this one.

Well i did not make the movie like u guys want it i made it for myself, what i like. but i respect ur comments and im not the best movie maker either but im happy with the resault.
This was my last movie but if some1 wants demos in a new movie sometime just msg me and i can send some clips if i got some.
I will stilll download ur movies, just love qw. q2, q3 movies... so keep on movie making,,, nice trailer btw, was tooo big though but very nice.. looking forward to it.

Acion on quad what da hell :???, 2 much gl frags and always the same : gl jump + somethin. In the 1st highlights it was very nice for some1 who have never seen it before. No blood!!!!!!!!!!! Just some kind of dust wtf is that??
- Music: No sync. I turned it off watching it for the 2nd time.
- Intro: q2 is not q3, not cool 4 me.
- Design: pak is just AWFUL!!! dm2 water looks like some kind of ocean :???

This is not the fines movie i've ever seen! This is the wors movie you have ever made.
I wont say gw... becouse the movie is boring. Keep on trying, and no hard feelings, this is just my opinion.
Oni: well i did my best and i hope thats ok...i know about the interlacing but it always fucks up... i had to cut some avi files in to part... if a clip were longer then 450 frames but it went better than i thought
Foen: strrange, must be ur codec cuz my are synced and i have asked others too and they say that is was ok.. but i dont know...
I have to agree with oni....
Specially slowmotions and missing music syncs ruined this movie in my eyes. And effects were pretty poor too.
Some frags were nice. and and and.....
To be honest, didnt enjoy the movie even for a while.
- First of all I cant stand the engine, It looks more like Counter Strike than Q2, no coloredlightmaps, where is the blood?
- Wtfux with the frags? Some of them were really nice, but in the other hand some frags that seriously shoudnt be in the movie.
- interlacing bug pisses everybody off.
- You switch female tris to male, but forgot to paste weapons models, so every weapon in primary female isnt in the right place.
- No music sync.
- slow motion by the slide show, oh man...
