Yeah, agree more with the later comments than the praising to begin with.
There are a few nice frags there, and the nade frag on rdm2 cerainly is pretty neat (actually smiled when seeing it the first time). Not as jawdropping actions as last movie i saw when scooby railed someone in mega into the rocket he had fired previously, while standiing by ssg, but a few decent air-rockets here and there. Some nice work with the nades as well, I loved that. Allthough some of the air-frags seemed sorta unoriginal after seeing XX airrocket/airnade frags from top of rl lift on q2dm2 in various movies for instance, and quite a few of the airrockets were really close up (meaning not nearly as nice imho). And the jump down from lift doing a 180 turn and kill the guy on lift is really average. Same with railspam into mega from water. And rockets/nades on someone jumping to mega or rail on rdm2. Every movie has those shots, just try to avoid those oh so overused frags. That's why I enjoyed Bubkez' movie, cause he had some original frags thrown in there.
Good to see actions with different guns and on different maps. It makes the movie more pleasant to watch, and it doesn't drag nearly as much as it could. The trickjumps to begin with weren't hard, but they worked well enough, should put them in between some of the fragging as well, maybe. Some trickjumps always spice up the movie
The movie has it's original parts as mentioned in other posts though, the intro and rdm2 intro worked suprisingly well and caught me off guard. Also good usage of visual effects. Good vid settings and nice looking pak and effects overall. Generally pleasing to the eye to watch. The recams were done well at most parts, allthough I began to worry when the first recam was not good at all. Some minor editing mistakes here and there, but nothing that took away anything from the movie in my eyes. The outtro or whatever you call it was a let down though, didn't seem to fit the rest of the movie with it's plain text and black/white screen. Keep working on the recams and get them even better, and you'll do great.
But since the movie just last too long those good parts just stand out even more from the rest, leaving other parts of the movie as pretty monotone and downright boring. The parts inbetween, especially on q2dm1, is just too long and not much you remember after watching the movie. Try to keep up the quality throughout the movie, as it started out really nice but that made the rest of the movie suffer.
Main fault in my eyes is that the frags and actions just don't stand out enough to fill 13 min of a movie. The pace of the frags is also pretty low as well, due to the democutting/editing. Sometimes you start the clip way too early showing missed jumps (especially rdm2) or just spamming (not often i see players who spam even more than myself) and missed opportunities (like 2 airrocket frags on q2dm1 missed in a row, one when opponent rj from ssg to armor, didnt see why you put that frag when it could have been much better). Sometimes you let it run too long after the frag is done. I think onimusha mentioned the frag on dm8 and when he jumped to armor on rdm2 (think you missed that 3-4 times in the movie), both frags which I also noted to myself. And I want to see stuff that I don't see in every demo from top players. You could easily cut down the length of the movie to make it more entertaining and maintain better quality on the frags, then I certainly would enjoy it a lot more. I don't want to see missed jumps and missed opportunities for nicer frags. For next movie maybe cut down the lenght of the democlips and the movie overall and make limited material you got more focused and down to the point. Be more selective!
And music is always an easy target for criticism as musictaste vary so much from person to person. I noted some syncing here and there (mostly flash effects, which got old after the intro), but the music didn't stand out at all, the first song after the intro just lasted and lasted, or maybe it was 2 songs sounding exactly the same. And the song was horrible A few times you noticed the music, and that was during the intro and the rdm2 intro. Else it just was in the background doing whatever music do. Guess it's not bad, but it could be done even better for future movies.
And I know scooby said it wasn't a fragmovie, but you really need some seriously good content when you let it run for over 10 minutes
But I still was suprised at the quality of the movie, just work on the content and get the movie to have more of a theme to tie it together. Now the replay value isn't that big, as the shocking effect of the animations is gone. Hmm, maybe I sound too harsh, don't take it personal, just think you got the potential to take it to you, and do something even better next time around. Else I'd not bother replying

After such a good recommendation I was willing to see something awesome and unluckily this movie aint one. Since the content is a huge issue, there is less you can do to make a good frag movie.
In fact I barely can stand the demo/avi frags edition. F.E: warehouse, you shot seven rockets and only the last one hits the enemy... whats the point of showing all six which misses? Chastity, you killed the male and then jump to yellow armor twice, simply pointless to show that you really WON the armor, what we already knew, by noticing you did frag; etc. etc.
Despite some people say nu-metal (or whatever it is) fits, in my opinion music didnt fit to THIS frag movie and I didnt notice any music sync too.
The good thing tho are the animations which made my mouth open, unfortunately movie made me yawn so I have oppened my mouth twice.
- First of all since good players ( Scooby, bubkez, slonken...) can't make enough moviefrags, why someone average or even below averageskill player bother to try? So frags were very poor, except few.
- Overused flash effect. It is kinda annoying if screen flashes every once in a while.
- Democlips were too long, and it made frags look even more weak, and also showed his pretty bad movement.
- Music... First of all nu-metal kinda suck with q2, or at least disturbed didn't work in this one. Rocket ride was just horrible. And "let's get ready to rumble" how original.. ok there was nice begining but you shouldn't have played the whole song!
- Again so simple outro to effect full movie...
- And like distance said, one part here, one there and another here... my movie is ready!
Ok there were some good parts too like those 2 animations, those were new stuff and deffinatly highlights in this one.

well i dont really (ever) post comments, but this movie needed my presence! i thought it was amazing, unlike others i thought the music went really well and the opening to RDM2..OMFG how did u do that? some above average frags..but remember they are all his own, he hasnt got a folder with hundreds of different peoples demos's ( like pff1+2)outstanding work, you can only get better!and im looking forward to future work by you...congratz

Hmm ive watched it 5minutes ago and must say that it was good but after some minutes ive got bored, that amazing "intro" of rdm2 woke me up again - u chose good moment to put it!

- music, it just didnt fit the movie its not about my "i like trance", metal fits q2 but u have "hard music" with very slow movie :/, ironicly the 4th song which doesnt fit q2 was the best one cose after that "funny intro" it was like a "funny part with a funny music"
- slow motion of movie, there wasnt a single demo with normal q2 speed, it was to slow 4 me, 0 dynamic :/
- frags i liked only few fregs, but i remember/like one the most @ rdm2 when ur opponent is falling downa and grenade is going after him and "catches" him :]
- graphic settings :/ i mean that "fog" on every map, it was ugly, there were "light shots" on rdm2 - in those sheats there were nice "real!" colours! for me it was like a watching a movie from behind of some dirty glass/widnow :] ( remove those q3 armors from movies they suck)
Ive noticed its ur 1st movie, so its kinda impressive with that (there were only 2 mistakes) + all ive those which i had mentioned above which are kinda "my own like" mistakes gives a nice, really nice job!

quality of recams shocked me and kept me in this state till 3:00 when it started to bore me. and without doubt it lasted too long until cool effects made me sit back again. your ideas are fresh, your motivation is clear. but it's still, liek most of q2 movies just some frags with bunch of effects. there's no clear storyline, you show your best in random order, like a unemployed person begging for work.
in my humble opinion modern q2 movies are technically getting better and better but it's still not consequently told story. obviously, we should grow up to make complete movies such as q3 classics liek total annihilation and others.
you have very huge potential, but please think what you want to tell us, be sure what you want to do and then do. just don't waste it.
8, not considering it's your first prod, objective, strong 8. hope your next prod will deserve 10.
