i really dont feel good watching this movie ...it seems is missing something , but hey , effects are 10+ . Even so i like older movies instead of this one, movies with less effect but more attractive, those kind of movies that makes u replay again and again and again.
+ intro, but I wonder would this look better if lights flashes were red + frags, frags and frags, they are great + synchronization frags with music + well done recams + lots of really nice effects + ssg multi kill in water mixed with music was marvellous + running DEVIL + assist rg frags, I don't remember them in any others movie, at least they weren't that emphasize + mixing up colours in the last part of the movie + ending, but there were grammar mistakes in translation
- video quality could be better, maybe you should use 32b textures and weapons - music, it was ok but I think we need something fresh
it was the best movie since pff2 and at least one of the best q2 movie ever made. i dont write that becouse im polish... i write it becouse i realy enjoy that production. i've saw many, many effects very well used (even when most of those was used before, wasnt so great as here). wonderful frags! some of them are special and never seen before! couple of frags still average, but anyway in other movies there's many more 'daily frags'. and music... everyone of us have own style and listen other kind of music. i think choosing this tracks was brilliant idea and sync are made perfect. it possible that with diffrent kind of music movie would be better or not (it depends who will watch). collecting all this atributes my opinion is - EXCELLENT.
Zorre i didn't say this is a copy, only the music what is totally tipical polish q2 movie style. But i think this is the best polish production since pff2!

name: player models are q2 default male and female. The skin is custom (dont know where to get) and the quad/invu effect is created by altering packetentities effects in keygrip and using custom pics/shell.png.
There were two ideas used that i had already thought of, but never used in a movie so it was nice to see them. First was cl_lights 1 and low gl_modulate in the intro and second was the sequence of dm1 arena frags in one recam.
Sadly there was interlace lines in every clip that was speeded up. Those kind of mistakes shouldnt take place in todays q2 movies. Another thing that you should learn is deleting unnecessary prints like teammessages etc.
The frags were nice and some were great, but few bad ones too. Those minuses were ffa frags and "he is my friend so i have to include his demo" type of frags (only a couple though). Team rails were fun to see and the sg frag was cool too. Oh and the grenade through 5 walls at dm1 slugs was delightful.
I would say that the weakest point of the movie was the music. I think this hollywood movie music has lived behind its times in quake movies and now it sounds rather boring. And using Q3 awardsounds was quite lame
Overall this is one of the better q2 movies. Even though i found the evil theme naive, it still leaves personal touch in the movie which is always good.
Im just suprised your rating becuase i have never seen better q2 movie than this one. This movie include so many NEW special efects, edit is on high level only some frags isnt so great but we can find many nice frags too. Ah and music is ok for me too. Peace
If I wanted to create a quake2 fragmovie I would do like Optimizer (the way it should be done), just the friggin frags, nice music and not too long. The majority of quake2 fragmovies is just "Lets see how much bullshit effects I can fill this 10 minutes movie"
slonken, your rate in edl4 movie is 9 and for this movie is 7. No offence but i think its only because Evil Inside is polish movie... Of course i can be wrong but if you wrote "average movie" maybe you can try do something better than this "average" movie...
Wow, some extremely nice frags (like the grenade jump from lift, followed by shooting a grenade in the lift which kills the opponent below), edited in a nice movie. Some of the best I've seen on DS.

This movie positively surprised me. Have very good sync, music,efects, amazing frags and this running devil. Look on this intro! Awesome!Last 30 sek rox!! I love asist frags with rg. I didnt not see for long time nice q2 movie. Evil inside change this. Ofcourse 10/10
nice movie.. music rememberin me on some polish movies , i gonna get suprised when i hear smth different style music in a new polish production, nevermind , it works. nice edit, good sync and frags.
