KTA and Solaris had a game for the 1st place in group C, it was going to be a great game between too pretty much improved clans for this season. I was expecting an very even game, because both of them had pretty similar scores from earlier matches in their group. And they really have showed that they both are one of the better clans for this season, why not even the best? It wouldn’t surprise if we would see one of them in semifinals. Oh well, so this quality game was about to begin. Maps were q2next1 and q2next2 and dm1, if needed. And server was Harva's Battle #1 <> 130.238.30.196:27910 for all maps.

Q2next1 was the first map. I knew that KTA have practiced this and I was expecting them to win it, even though I knew that Solaris have also played well on it. So this was their first real fight on this map. KTA nor Solaris haven’t really faced any resistance on this map earlier in this league. So this was going to be the real test for them both.

KTA started out well and got first quads and also had 15 frags early lead. After 5min Solaris made a little comeback and decreased KTA's lead back to 5 frags. But then again they lost quad area and let Dimmu make his quad runs and that helped KTA to get next quads. After 10min KTA had 72-48 lead and game seemed to be quite well under their control. But then something happened, Solaris took over the quad area and started to catch up. KTA’s lead was only 5 frags when it was 6.30 left. And within next 30 seconds Solaris finally tied the game with Digital's 4 straight frags. 5min left and game was still tied (94-94). Next few minutes there was an awesome fight for quad, even though Solaris seemed to have slight advantage. Well, KTA got the quads but Solaris was controlling the area and therefore made more frags than KTA did. Frag difference was about 10 frags for Solaris when it was 3 min left. They kept their lead and even made it a bit bigger in next 2 minutes. 15 frags for Solaris when it was only 1min left and in the end their lead went up to 20. So the final score was 138-118 to Solaris. The best player on this map was defiantly 4ever. What can I say... I really don't want to see him when have SSG, at least not tonight. I pretty sure, that no one from KTA couldn't miss that. Well played 4ever, he stepped up when Solaris needed someone to secure their lead (during last 5min). And great game overall from both.

I was finishing my q2next1 report and really was waiting q2next2, for the first time in my life and probably the last time too. And what happened… I got kicked from the server because KTA needed one more spec instead of admin!? Great move from them. Anyway KTA won q2next2 since they started to play q2dm1 after that, which they also won as you can see from the screens.
