I (Foen) think it is my time to step a way after this league or atleast to backround. I guess gravgon is going to do same thing after ndml. So we are looking new headadmins for nq2l and cq2l. New specadmins would be nice too, and active this time! :).
Claymore had some good ideas for a season 2, it is going to be easier to admins than this season was. Less games and more even fights, if i understood right :)
If you want to be headadmin, we will help you in every possible way, so you won't be alone.
And another thing, we are also looking for an interview maker, he should make an interview once in a week. And him we need now, it would be great if we find someone before playoffs.
I will write my thanking letter now, because i'm so bored at school...So, i have now run 4 clanleagues and some other league which didn't went so well...2 years ago i run q2sl5 for finnish ppl. Then came nq2l and nq2l-2. Thanks to erizo, stuff, Digital and ofcourse to our webmaster jones and to all specadmins for helping in nq2l leagues. Now i'm running euroq2l with gravgon and __d34d if you haven't notice, claymore and specadmins are also in a big part of this league, so thanks to them. And special thanks to dajna who started nq2s project with erizo? it didn't work out but it gave me an idea to run nq2l, which imo helped finnish scene very much, because it brough swedish clans closer to us, before that we didn't play many pcw against each other, i bet it helped swedish scene too.
Now ppl thinking why i'm writing this stupid thanking letter? If you want to get respect and fame from admin job, it is impossible. Only thing what ppl will remember is what you done wrong. And only think you will hear after league is what you have done wrong...In 2 years i have heard only few thanks, and those have come from old admins who know what it is to run league. So that's why i wanna thank all of you who have helped me out. |

I need your help, what u want me to change/improve, if u have some idea write comment to this news or send PM.
Mostly i will concentrate on admin's panel but here are some idea for user side website:

North Group preview
There are still few rounds left. But here is little overview from first 12 rounds in nq2l.
Nq2l leader is eG, i can't say i'm suprised. They showed nice teamplay before nq2l-2 but for some reason league didn't go like they wanted, but this time they have played very well whole league, and deffinatly is one of the best clans in europe. They don't really have any "big names" maybe frza, but in q2 you need teamplay to win games! :). HBQ is 2nd, they got many skilled players from eA (Nace Stuff and bubkez) and also managed to get Sorax from ph. It is very intresting to see eG vs HBQ in round 14. Wizards are 3rd, they have got few w/o's against top clans. I guess i'm a wrong person to say anything about wizards coz i'm playing with them, so let's move on. play, lm and 2.0 are next 3 and 3 last playoffs teams atm. But KTA still have a playoffs place on their own hands, if they win OK and lm 2-0 then they will be in playoffs, but it is not going to be easy. lm have had little problems getting players, and they have lost few games because of that. 2.0 also missing 2 key players (deuce and xircuit) but now they got xircuit back to playoff games, so who knows how far they will go. Play is also very good team, and they are 4th atm. They still have HBQ and Moriquendi left before playoffs.
All 6 clans from north have chances to win this league and 1 very good clans don't even reach playoffs place.
Biggest suprise is OK, i though they will be in top6, but now they are 9th and won't go to playoffs

Central group preview
As for the central group, I have to be honest, it wasn't a big success, loads of default and many clans dropping. Even worse, the best clans couldn't fight each other properly due to some scheduling problems. It now seems obvious that the central countries aren't active enough for a such big league. Nevertheless there had some nice matches, especially at the beginning. XTC is at the first pos and I don't see any other clans who might take it over.
East group preview
The beginning of the season was quite smooth. Then few clans dropped out and now theres only 12 clans left. There are 3 main leaders sYnth, DI and 3M. All 3 will surely go to playoff. At the moment first place in the group belongs to 3M. They have played 9 matches and only lost to DI. Still, I think that the first place will be taken by sYnth, who are now second. They played 1 match less and still have to play 3M. If sYnth wins that match 3M will only get 3rd place. 4th is rebels then AGL. Both are good clans but the ones who are below maybe even stronger. Considering the fact that aK have only played 6 matches and still are going to play rebels and some clans from the buttom, they have good chances to be 4th. BoD also have chance to go to playoffs. They have to win AGL and they would get 5th place. |

Stuff got an good idea (first in years), so i will just paste what he wanna ask to you...
"Thought I'd check how many players that are intrested in having a ctf-league, similar to euroq2l but with two divisions.. one div with experienced ctf-players and one without any experience at all or very little. I think that ctf can be very fun although here are no new players that can/want to start playing since it's so freaking hard in the beginning and somehow u manage to get you're ass kicked BIG TIME. That's why I want to see if there's any intrest in having this league where new players can really enjoy playing without getting raped every game. Tactics and other necessary stuff will be on a site to get you all started. btw, there's no point having a league if only two or three clans would be intrested in this so i'm wondering how u all feel about this.. ( ctf is played 5 vs 5 so member requirements are at the least 5-7.. )"
So that's what he asked, IMO this is a good idea. Ctf skene is pretty small, but it is very mod. |
