The kickoff-match for this fourth edition of NDML wasn't looking good at 20.00CET tonight.
Estonia would face Finland, but only one Estonian player was responding in irc.
After waiting some minutes shugg,captain of the Estonian team quoted :

(20:03:45) <`shg`> mne kak to poh

So w/o it was...Untill Damiah asked me 30 minutes later if they could still play the match.I agreed and we started it all over again.
At ~21.00CET we started to play on a neutral server : edome (194.251.249.72:27930).Both clans pinged +/-40,only Damiah had a high ping as usual.

Maps were q2dm2 for Estonia and q2dm8 for Finland.

q2dm8 (.fi choice)

The game started quite even,which is quite normal on dm8 when noone has a ps.Both teams fragged and it looked like a nice game.
I knew Finland would have control of the powerups, because Digital played with them.(who i know as an excellent dm8 timer).Quickly Finland got some powershields,and they took control over the whole map.Damiah made his home at the hyperblaster which means his powershield was well filled with all those cells.He kept the ps almost the whole game,but some minutes before the timebell he got chased down by 4 Estonian players and lost it.Digital had almost all (if not all) powerups and this is visible in his stats : only 1 death!Neverthless Estonia never gave up en they kept trying to kill Finland's massive PS army.
This map was a classical dm8 game : the team with PU control rapes the other team.



q2dm2 (.ee choice)

After dm8 we quickly started dm2,Estonia's homemap.The game started off with Finland controling the RA lift and Estonia having the first quad.Again,both teams fragged eachother in those first minutes.After 7 mintues Damiah lost the RA-lift and Estonia took place there.Finland had most of the quads,mainly because provi did an excellent job on the MH-lift!On the other side , Estonia kept attacking the quad,and they were succesfull sometimes.When they took the quad but couldn't really frag a lot with it tho.At a moment Finland took the RA-lift back started fragging more.Estonia kept trying hard to get quads,and to retake the RA-lift but didn't succeed.



Conclusion

Good game by both teams!Nice fair play from Finland,who could have taken the w/o too,but prefered to play rather then win a game in that way.Finland had better tactics then Estonia and a better teamplay i think.
