Allstar teams are now decided after discussions between the NDML admins. Here it is:

Little note concerning the Scandinavian flag: it wasn't available on the website so I had to put the default one ;/

Here we are, the theorical 3 weeks for the Round Matches are over.
I think we can say it was a success, despite several site problems, with many nice matches. Moreover the captains showed a lot of motivation and took care of scheduling their matches every time.
Fairplay was met in several "hard" cases where countries had problems and it's also great to see that.
Now I will explain what will happens for the upcoming weeks:
Monday 8 december -> Sunday 14:
Exhibition matches week
During this week will be played the long awaited ALLSTAR games. The admin crew of NDML will pick 6 players to represent, on one hand, Scandinavia and on the other hand 6 players to represent Europe.
Those teams will face each other on all the 7 maps played in this league.
Another exhibition match will be organised between all the admins of the league :)
Monday 15:
PlayOffs & "Ranking" Tournament
- PlayOffs: the 2 best teams of each group will enter the Double-Elimination PlayOffs system (aka Grand PlayOffs). For more infos about that system check the rules.
- "Ranking" Tournament: Many teams had requested it and here it is...
Among the 8 teams which didn't make it to the playoffs, 2 groups will be created:
* Group1 will feature all the 4 teams which ended 3rd in their group.
* Group2 will feature all the 4 teams which ended 4th in their group.
Those teams will fight against each other inside their group...
The 2 best teams of Group2 will face the two LAST teams of Group1.
The 2 best teams of Group1 will meet the first 2 teams eliminated from the Grand PlayOffs.
By this way (and if our supreme site coder Claymore manage to do it scriplty speaking), we will be able to determine a final ranking of all the nations after the league ended.
A last note to say some Round Matches still have to be played, this week is the last limit.

Just a little news to apology about the website which has been down for 4 days.
At the moment it's back but it still seems a bit dodgy so I hope this was the last time.
The 3 last games of the first round have been played, the reports are being written currently.
I will also write a small review of the first week. |

As you can see the website is finally back online after a 3 days down time.
Hopefull it won't happen anymore (the server has been upgraded).
NDML starts on monday 17 november which means you can start scheduling your matches for the upcoming week.
The date of the rounds will be added in the "schedule" section as soon as possible.
Moreover, I'd like to remind the layout of the league: 3 rounds of group matches, then during the next week there will be the "Allstar games" followed by playoffs (best 2 teams of a group enters the playoffs, they are double-elimination). In parallel, a mini-tourney will be organisated for the teams which didn't make it to the playoffs.
According to the poll result, a rule has been added and it's now compulsory for players to record demos of their games.
Little notes:
- Don't forget to read the rules carefully, they are long but complete.
- Anyone who could help to set up a QTV or shoutcasts is welcomed to contact us :)
- We are looking for the password of the server "Chef's battleground".

You can check out the groups in the right row. You might wonder how and why we did them that way.
Here are few explainations:
We first took the 4 best teams into seperate groups then we added the other teams randomly but regarding to skills and pings.
Our main goal was to have interesting playoff (as it is double-elimination this season).
After that we realised it disadvantaged the "weaker" teams. That's why we are planning to organise a parallel tourney for the teams which didnt reach the playoff. More infos will follow when everything will be set up.
There is also a new poll: in the 2 first NDML, recording demos was compulsory for each players. Maybe it can be a good way to have a lot of demos but also to anihilate any attempt of cheat. Give us your opinion!
