	I think anybody who is motivated and interested can write news. Also, I won't blame someone who contributes to the scene for doing so and rl post quite a lot of fresh news. But I gotta agree with what wision said in his earlier (and deleted) comment: this is not a blog! You gotta keep in mind that this page is what is seen first by people who wants to know what's going in the Q2 Scene, it's a facade for our scene so I think you should be a bit more "professional" in the way you write. For instance that whole part with "I still miss some old masters...". Ok, I'm pretty sure many of us miss them too but honestly we don't care about what you think :p (we don't care about what the news poster think, this is not only worth for rl). News should be, well, just news. The poster can put a bit of his own touch in the way he writes them but if the entire news is written like a blog post, it becomes a circus. I also think it should be written in correct english and without abreviations. This is not IRC! On IRC we write like we talk, but "even tho" in a news item looks a bit random. In other words, keep the news coming but try to improve the quality of your writing by keeping in mind that this page is the q2scene.net portal's first page.
