plej picked dm3, and 2ez dm1. Report by floyd DM1Too easy got off to a great start with thaigo making a very nice frag, killing the freshly chain-armed opponent with a single SSG-shot in the MH-room. provi also got a hold of his beloved railgun very early in the match. Enough reason to make sure the first 10 frags were for the Fins. At that point, with the score settled at 10-0, something really strange happened. thaigo stood still at the upper RL-spawnpoint for a couple of seconds and then proceeded to chain his teammate provi to death, dazzling all observers and provi not in the least. Lucky for them provi spawned nearby so an obviously confused thaigo could provi-de provi with a railgun. This incident kind of broke 2ez's control and fragstreak, allowing plej> to somewhat get back into the game. Their comeback wasn't quite adequate though, as 2ez quickly regained control and steadily defended their lead until the end of the game. DM3The Frag Pipe saw plej> getting the best start, immediately grabbing both the Invulnerability as the Quad. Their lead didn't last for long though, as a very strongly railing provi managed to tip the balance back to 2ez's advantage. Around the third minute the score had settled to a deuce again, following a takeover by the Fins. Plej> did succeed in getting the second 666 at the fifth minute too, but this didn't cause a turnaround in the game. Quads were quite evenly divided and thaigo got a hold of the last invul, securing the map win and thus winning this semifinal!
