Well i didnt start with past! Plus i liked edl3 movie, it was awesome engine, quality, far best frags from your movies, cool songs and its a bit more basic quake if u know what i mean and i like that. =]

like for me edl3 movie and kta are very similar, and the difference is about 3 years, so why u careem talking about past? ppl still making movies with the same ways, but now q2 moviemakers just take more time to do it
KTA is very old movie! In past i watched KTA movie everyday actually, it was awesome movie that time and u know ppl, u rated with 5stars and comment "WOW" etc etc.. And now is now, time has changed, movie makers are better now, movies are better.

The only "mistake" i did in KTA movie was that i didnt know cl_predict, but i fixed that in my later projects. KTA movie was 3 years ago and what did you do back then? Yes, you released "highlights from bubkez" at the same time. It had distorted aspect ratio, 40kbps sound, interlace flicker and you didnt even remove camera shaking in recams.
I know you eager to compare everything with my movies, but kta movie is the only piece of my longer projects that are released. Im afraid you have to wait for Finnhits vol1 to be released. I have already edited first 4 minutes of it.

I havent seen a good movie coming from Dimmu in.... yes never.. i mean how can so many like that "kta" movie, whats good about that? no offence dimmu but it was alright, but the music and ur settings were not that good, same for the cl_prediction stuff, and the content were not so good either, timings were alright, but its not hard to time if ur music sucks
I can agree with the others, this movie was not the best made, but it was enjoyable and ok, the 3d stuff were just pointless, would be better if they had some "meaning" in the movie and not just "effects".
Frargs was ok too, but the "spec" mode was kinda anoying, but fun idea.
Overall it was a decent movie, to loong but ok. GJ!

I also said it's totally OK to criticize a movie but, for reasons and most of the time, when you do that criticism Foen and Dimmo (it might just be your english or your tone) it looks like you're telling the moviemaker "DONT make a movie if i t's not up to our standard you fool!".
It really sounds like that. Now take that guy who spent 8 months on making a movie, whatever if it's not perfect, he comes here and somebody totally destroys his work with words like "WEAK!" or "That _shit_ is totally unoriginal OMG", no wonder why he's a bit gutted.

Ok, so be it. Time goes on, he and many other think it was the perfect movie since everybody rated it with 5 stars. Then many moviemakers make look alike movie, just like we saw after very well made pff2. Many movies followed its footsteps, but they didnt manage to be as good as original was. OK, so what is the point?
The point is that movies are not going to be any better, if you dont give the real criticism to it. Maybe it sounds bad or makes him feel bad for a while, but at least he knows what he needs to make better for next movie. But sure if you dont want to see better movies, lets rate them all with 5 stars and everybody are happy.
To feeble: I guess you missed the line where I said that Yaix have ability to make a good movie but he just didnt succeed in this one. Good effects, frags nor anything else that doesnt fit in to movie, doesnt mean shit, no matter how good and nice they are. Imo you can make a very good movie with everyday frags if only you know how. The whole concept is the most important thing, not small parts all over the movie.
All i did here was to give some constructive feedback that could actually help him to improve in movie making. And i really think i have enough experience to be in position to give advices. Not to talk about critisizing movies, that can everyone do who has watched the movie.

Kinda stupid to publish the movie here if you don't want to be criticized. What Dimmo and others are merely trying to say is that a good movie was spoiled by a few things that movie-makers consider "noobish". If he would have the patience to read atleast a few guides or ask around, the movie could easily have made a 10+. There were lots of great and new ideas in this film but most of them were poorly made or "overdone" with effects. But I personaly always enjoy q2-movies, and this one was ok tho it had potential to be much better.

Anyways it's good to see a 10+ minute movie again , after a long time. But something like ~12min could be enough with this stuff.
And it was good to see a clans movie , on much maps , but i waited some "clan" actions in this film , u could replace thoose easy frags , to not really eye candy , but nice teamplay actions. But here are nothing about this.. so this way i can say: this movie about a few guys's frags who plays in the same clan , not a clan movie.
Just a few! , 10-15 actions could be enough to give a little "clan" feeling to this film , and i can't mind that , you hadn't cuz u guys plays in much leagues , tp most of the time , and recording all time , so surely you have stuffs about this. why isn't that here than?
My other main problem is with the music: the quality of it , and the syncing.

I think everyone waited too much from this movie , someone get what that he waited for, someone not. But i don't agree thoose "worst movie ever" etc comments.

Ok, watched the movie second time. Now some real hardass feedback. Dont start crying, its going to be tough text.
There were tons of comments on first yaix movie (www.q2scene.net/ds/index.php?op=dd3&id=1122198700) and for me it looks like yaix has ignored quite many of the proposals for improvement. Ill repeat some of them:
- antialiasing & aniso
- crosshair
- you had no color correction, or very weak job in it
- many people said be selective on frags but there is still too many not movie worth frags
- camera bobbing in recams
There was some WTF moments in your movie. The 3ds max animation in the room where a male fell down on floor and then he mutated into female and stood up. Do you want to become a transvestite or what are you trying to tell us? Other wtf moment was caused by the matrix scene where players started to have white noise.
Now about effects. You shouldnt use an effect if it makes the frag harder to understand. That happened a lot of times. You seemed to "award" a nice frag by putting an effect to it and that resulted in nice frag that is quite hard to see whats really happening.
Someone was babbling about creativity and being talented. Repeating of matrix shit, using lame page roll transitions and bad tv signal, old hits from the 90s ... thats not representing creativity.
The grenade part intro was creative, i liked it. But then again you ruined it by using some low fps 3ds animations. Your movie is 50fps and if there is any content that is lower than 50fps, it will look laggy.
The movie would have looked much nicer without frame blending. And im probably talking about your worst mistake now.
Overall: Some of the frags were great, but the total mess of the video editing ruined the movie for me.

I like the length and the whole movie impression filled with hours of work spended on it.
You will get the better content - you will create a better movie. Everything else is just an add-on. Choose wisely which effects, frags are hot and which are not. Thats my personal opinion.
this guy is extremeley talented, obviously, to be able to produce something of that caliber, and i'm sure it took quite a long time
comparing it to the other movies that are good on here, it's lacking
it doesn't seem to have the q2 feel, or make you feel amazed by the game, and highlight the players.
maybe it was to much 3rd person, or effects, or wrong choice of music

anyways, i hope his clan liked the movie, and it was good

frags : yeah , there are some quite casual , but as i saw lately few movies , such frags are really noticeable in movies... i can give an example of pure old school scandinavia where i didn't like many frags , but what the hell , it was 10 10 10 , extreme beauty frags . moreover - loads of frags from clanwars and on serious players - who cares? more frags on other map than on dm1 - who cares ? THEY SUCK

yea, i think too many transitions used , and too many type.Theres no music sync in the most of the time what i think the one of most important things in a movie , and many everday frags , but there are some what i really like.
I think the quality could be better , and resampling for 50 fps is not that good in the most of time.

thb, this was the worst q2 movie i have seen in ages.
I must say that moviemaker (yaix?) have potential to make a decent or even a good movie, but in this one he failed in everything he possible could.
I already deleted this one, so I can't give more detailed comment. But do everything better than in this one, if you are still planing to make a movie... It shouldn't be too hard.
I didn\'t like it.... Very everyday frags, bad soundquality and I had pretty low fps too.
But I guess it\'s nice to have a fragmovie about your own clan!
The intro and the bits of film inbetween the frags were very nice, though.
