Wision i remember when we talked about "shadows" in q2 engines , and i finally decided to don't use them , because they looks pretty good in the most of time , but sometimes it looks a bit buggy. I experienced the same here, so maybe it would be look better without thoose shadows.
The weapon models was really good , and i didn't see them before.
All in all it entertained for the 4-5th watch too , waiting for a longer one..
Nice, short, good frags, great picture. Just a q though...which weapon models have been used? They look so clear and have a nice black "border". I have both hi res model paks mentioned in http://q2scene.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=320 but I don't see that effect. Maybe a movie feature? Or my crappy gfx card?

The thing what u don't wanna understand , this isn't the same category as some 'hard work' productions, to compare it with thoose.
It's a 3 min rolling killing , with a next level quality , and some impressive frags... But just another frag movie - nothing so special after bullz edl style movies.
How come? Ppl rate it with 3 or 4 stars? There is nothing to rate imo. No sync, no effects, no intro, no outro, random music! Actually nothing, only what is showed is the awesome work with the quality
its hard 2rate it because its not a typical movie (well 3mins = maybe longer trailer ) some frags r good but its not enough no effects and that static-x song is not as good as it shud be quality is very good and it looks nice still u cant compare it with big productions 7/10 mostly 4 quality and some frags
if you have any problems with codecs, try this http://www.cccp-project.net/ but if your computer is really slow then it won't help you :/ i have some low quality release but it sucks :X
as i thought - my pc could hardly handle it. there are moments when it goes smoothly, but sometimes video gets freezed. i mean song goes on, but screen stops for few seconds
name: I did made on tones of clips / movies, but i had always problems with the quality because of my crap comp, now i have the new 1 and i think i can do the awesome work of movie now. More space, much faster comp etc... => And yeh, im gonna do the another preview soon. =>
thing is that everyone expect smth else from a movie/video (story wtf?).. and i picked this name because fragmovie is used term for frag movies (*surprise*).. frag video didn't even come to my mind
naymlis: I do not expect a complicated storyline in q2 movies, but "movie is a form of entertainment that enacts a STORY by a sequence of images giving the illusion of continuous movement". This is how peoples perception works and why books, articles, paintings or movies without a clear message inside leaves a feeling of not finished work and taste of dissatisfaction.

pogo it's frame blending which is kinda different from motion blur. FB use frames before and after actual frame.. MB use only frames before actual frame (hope i'm right :X)
grrr plz guys this movie was finish just few days after wision ask bullz "btw.. can you share your technique with us (me xd)? :]" and movie title "just another frag movie" is just diferent way to show how q2 can be fun without 2min jumping at start around map or bunch of useless effect or few min credits and hello to friends and family... too much rail? u make me laugh all frags are awesome and i never saw any of this demos u shuld know there is something caled Art Freedom and this is wision's way to show his impression about q2 thx wision cz movie school is still best in the world
I agree with dud4, extremely nice quality and the motion blur looks really cool, but too many railfrags overall. Still a nice little movie and a good example of how q2 can look in movies with the right settings.
Careem: show some capacity first, then ask for frags. I would love to give some shots for somebody, who knows what to do with it. For example, Dimmo or Wision or Bulz could start tread in forums for best frags of 2007, giving some samples to vote each month and the best frags voted should appear in the final version.
everything is fine with this movie except I totally missed what was an idea of it. Opposite to Dimmo, who always keeps clear whats it about: high moments of a tourney; nice shot; comedy; etc. If its called a movie, it can't be just a sample of random shots from random players from random country's and centuries
quality is nice , music is rolling... some frags are nice, but too much railactions. i
t was ok to watch for 2-3 min , but i felt enough after it. so if you wanna make a longer production , try to make it more intresting with some good recams , and better action selection.

Well careem you are an idiot but I'll answer to your post, so I don't like this kind of music like wision used in this vid and I dont like 50cent or something like that but I guest you know better what kind of music I like...
Excellent quality, pretty cool frags, ok song. I don't need the spectacular effects, I like the way this looks. I would love to see some longer movie with a good structure!
Great, just the kind of fragmovies I enjoy. Simple but still very nice and smooth. Why even bother to make effects and such when all people want to see it some fragging.
