I know about falsepositive results, but here it is not. I'm not comp geek, so I can't prove with code. Or maybe you can prove, that r1q2 was never used as trojan?
panda isn't considered as 'very' good scanner so it's more likely that it was false warning (if you know how scanner works, then you know that this kind of things happen sometimes).. unusual activity? i don't see any reason why it should be related to r1q2.. check this activity with wireshark and you'll see what's causing it.. i'm sorry but i just don't see any way how this could be truth.. without any _real_ proof you are just confusing other ppl
It found panda activescan, before I was clean. Cleaned with german free antivirus Avira or something called. I suspected, that that type of trojan can make people related to q2. I looked over this page, but nobody talked about it. And now I accidentaly popped up on message about r1q2. So I wrote about my "discoveries". Till now I have big unusual activity in modem, what I don't had 5 years, time I have internet.
@AlexyeNov: Yes, this is true. anticheat.dll uses the same algo as trojans and backdoor opener do. Though it is possible for rich to abuse it. I wonder why u get this that late? it's all known since the release of r1q2...
This also suprised many of us, but Rich has remote code execution built into the anticheat.dll code. It's a backdoor into your entire machine, only for Rich. Rich has absolute access and has built a rather large network of botnets / drones of clients who run anticheat.dll. This also gives him the power to control your quake 2 client. He can talk as you when you are in a server, he can run commands as you and he can even run any windows shell command (to download and execute files)
no because bubkez already did one and i didn't felt that really good, but some tricks was nice But it was only about one kind of q2 jumping. so i just hope we gonna see a good jump movie now with any kind of q2 jumps.
Bullz started to work on it because Dimmo gave away the project to him.. So we have to wait some more for it , but finally someone started to work , so don't give up the hopes about , we gonna see a good q2jumpmovie finally...
