rul: Ask Careem? But after these comments and imho, demo's somewhat entertaining:
shows Delita's funny whine and frustration, leading to an inevitable d/c. shows another side of Bobek's "pure railwhore" style with rox/cg only domination.
'Bobek knows when and how to make his moves -- consistent'
Heh I also noticed that Wision! Kind of a strong comment for a player like Bobek ^^
Actually, spectator_1, it happens very often that for 'unexperienced' and maybe 'weak' players, a player in a demo seems a very good one. But in reality the player in the demo isn't so good at all. I see that in so many of the comments on ds.
It's not a problem though, as long as people enjoy the demos. But I just mean that the way you see it, spectator_1, is just your opinion, and it's not necesarily the way it is. Everyone has their own opinion. But I really think, experienced players look at demos in a different way, and easier spot if a player played well or not.
I think it's nice that the demo got uploaded btw ^^ It's funny.
wision...point taken -- im not familiar with his play just THESE 7 mins of his play in this RL/CG only demo.....which show him solid with rockets, knowing with CG position and mostly smart about attacking.
It IS a straightforward dm1 "attack megaroom from lift position, retreat to lower RL, repeat" tactical demo, but his strategy is clean and lean, and despite many, many opportunities, he completely ignores going for RG!
For being a "pure railwhore" Bobek can pull out a decent RL-based attack/CG finish style that, at times, is almost Slippi-ish!
"Bobek knows when and how to make his moves -- consistent, smarter than average play here"
all the respect to bobek.. i played with him probably most duels than any other player and all i can see is that he's pure railwhore (+ some grenade luck ) who can't do anything without rail so.. are you sure about what you said?
