This demo shows aone and damiah are both really good aimers. Im playing q2 for a very long time now but i never managed to get 29% chain accuracy.
Every time it ends up to a chain duel, damiah finishes aone in like 2 secs. Thats something i see in all damiah demos... 25% or even higher chain accuracy + amazing railshots hit. Any1 got some chain tips for me how to get this high?
Good demo, Aone couldnt complain about the spawn this game, like last one vs damiah, this time he started @ rail. Too bad Damiah had most of the near weapon respawns when they both died
@hauti: agreed about the Scoobster, but I think I need to clarify a unique breed of "patience" regarding Quake-based players. imho Scooby's is a "laid-back" patience blended with a crazy aerial movement style, i.e., a maniac who could just pull out the win at any time. Contrast with Damiah's cunning patience -- more cold-blooded, less flashy but very opportunistic and sudden.
First five minutes - a dead heat and interesting strategies at work! Damiah is arguably the most patient player to have ever played q2. (check out a few match1 demos where he almost hibernates in megaroom waiting his opponent out!) Given that, it's just a matter of time when he gets a stationary rail shot setup, which leads to mega/rg/YA control and the ensuing slow rape. Aone's too dangerous for a fast rape!
