great confident movement by david, as spec said, game was open until last 5 minutes, very close, some spectacular rails by david, i liked one when purri jumped for rail.
Here I go again with my Star Trek Borg thing, but man, watching David's pov on dm3 is like viewing a cybernetic organism that just assimilated Pogo and Scooby! Cold frag calculation.
Up until the 5:40 mark, anybody could have won this match. Purri's characteristic rushes and just flat-out CRAZY close-up attacks with RG did him in. David's "strat-cocktail" was equal parts sound fakes, +walk stealth, unpredictability and surprise attacks in the YA "deathtrap"(SO much splash damage there). Final score says absolutely nothing about the tension up until 5:40. After that, lots of spawn frags, RL whoring and running up the score.
++ David: nearly inpenetrable defensive/stealthy gamestyle PLUS knows when to attack the YA deathbox. Clutch rail flicks too! + Purri: your "win by aggression, die by aggression" dm3 style always entertaining. - Purri: was looking for more hyper attacking; 20/20 hindsight aside, David isn't quite as nimble on dm3 as you are -- rush with hyper!
p.s. medea, can't agree with ya -- there are about five dm3 demos here I like better. Still this is almost Top 5
