Nice movie whit good frags... like Tylox bfg or grenade frags on dm2.Player skins are amazing (btw where can i find them?) and music and slowmo makes this movie brilliant.It´s first movie what I saw on this site and it´s still my favorite

If you use the straight link (http://skene....avi), then the dl count will not rise and the stats fuck up. But of course then its ok if you really cant download it other way.

Yeah i didnt know about that cl_predict thing. Few people have told me about it now. Im noob Ill use it in the next movie, which i should start making on summer if i have time.
IMPORTANT:
You know when the player falls from very high or does big trickjumps in the demo, the playback is choppy. You can get rid of this choppiness by typing CL_PREDICT "0" in the console before watching the demo!
(If you ppl havent figured it out yet.)
The movie is nice. Finally some graphical quality! And the frags are excellent.
The music pretty much suxx.
But I don't really care about music sync or video effects.
The most important is to finally have a quality video because 80% of the Q2 movies, let's be honest :SUCK.
OK first of all i wanna thank everyone who gives me feedback about the movie.
Cos mon-soon put same comments here as in scene news (which is good), ill copy the answer here also:
I watched the movie and count the noticeable syncs - there were at least 26 of them. And more is if you count the changes of the beats.
In video cfg i used "vid_gamma 0.35;intensity 2.5;gl_modulate 5" and exported the avis with my old comp where is voodoo3, only to get better colors And naturally i corrected some levels (=colors) in vegas.
You are right that the video effects left poor. Maybe i wasnt so sure about my editing skills so i left it about untouched to be sure it wont be total shit.
BTW i didnt make the music - i made a frags movie. So no one is interested if you dont like the music. I just want to tell that rox/sux comments dont serve anyone, only argued commets make it.
ok so here it goes:
Nicely done first action as an intro (lets say its intro...) with monochrome and some shines... I started thinking that it will be only the beginning for some sophisticated graphic effects (as you read teh readme and the line about correcting weaknesses of other q2 movies and going level up to q3 films), so i sat down with attention.
I must express my disappointment...
Summary:
+ V. good quality
+ Good decision about modulate and intensity (everything is clear and bright enough)
+ Nice frags, definately
+ Correct recams
- Very few video effects
- No sync with music (oh... two ssgs were )
- I didnt like the music at all
hehe ok, it was dimmo's style.
The movie is good, but surely it is not a level up one :p
