Due to server problems i would like to show you all the way i used to download demos from demosquad. All we need is download accelerator(getright, flashget, DAP - download accelerator plus). I use DAP because its the best for me.
It goes like that :
1. Open DAP and click "add url" button.
2. Now we have to make our demo's url. We need demo's ID (ident number) and teamnames/playernames(TEAM1 and TEAM2 values)
The system is the same for all demos :
http://cl.rulez.pl/q2/ds/demos/demo'sID_TEAM1value_vs_TEAM2value.zip
example :
http://cl.rulez.pl/q2/ds/demos/1086602562_Damiah_vs_Jakkari.zip
1086602562 - demo's ID
Damiah - TEAM1 value
Jakkari - TEAM2 value
When you open a demopage(ie. Damiah vs Jakkari) you have something like this :
http://q2scene.net/ds/index.php?op=dd1&id=1086602562
1086602562 = demo's ID
and we know that TEAM1 value = Damiah and TEAM2 value = Jakkari. Now we put them(demo's ID, TEAM1, TEAM2) into the url-system (http://cl.rulez.pl/q2/ds/demos/demo'sID_TEAM1value_vs_TEAM2value.zip) and we have the real url : http://cl.rulez.pl/q2/ds/demos/1086602562_Damiah_vs_Jakkari.zip which we can paste into our download accelerator.
Once you have made url you may paste it again(most download accelerators remember last urls on the list), change demo's ID,TEAM1, TEAM2 values and download.
Last important thing - you must put the same value in your url like there is on the demopage(ie. if there is Damiah on the demopage you MUST put Damiah in your url)
I know its not the perfect way but it works ok for me and there are no broken downloads anymore. Hope everything is clear but if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask. | |
