As you can see on the right side of the page, elimination groups are announced. 107 players signed to the league and eight of them were picked directly into the group stage. The rest (99 players) was divided into 24 elimination groups. In these groups, every player plays with each other player in his group only once, and the winner of the elimination group will advance into the group stage. Group stage is played with the same style as elimination stage, just with an exception of 4 advancing players into the playoffs. This season we decided to use FDE (Full Double Elimination) playoff style, which should avoid some unexpected situations like last season.

Another thing we need to announce is the maplist for current season. Lot of people dislike having too long maplist, se we decided to drop some least played maps and use only 7 maps for this season. Maplist: q2dm1, q2dm3, ptrip, q2rdm2, q2duel5, ztn2dm3, aeroq2
From today you can schedule and play your games. Don't forget the rule "one round = one week". First round ends 9th of November. GL&HF | |
