Group round 1

After 2 long days of waiting we finally prepared the groups for the last gate before the playoff: the Group Round. 8 seeded players, who advanced over the qualification, join the competition now.

There are 4 groups, 8 players in each, and half of them will advance to the double elimination playoff. All matches are best of 3.

All players have to play 1 round before the Christmas. Of course, you are allowed to play more matches, but your 1st round match should be played no matter of other rounds.
Deadline of the 1st round: 21th of december, 21 cet.

So good luck to every player of the Group Round - you will definitely need it now.

	maps played: 298 demos on ds: 8 (6 at the time when you posted your comment) anyway.. i agree with you muerte. i'd also like to see more demos on DS, but i just can't spend ~4 hours talking to every single player who doesn't like his demos to be published and then spend another tens of hours to explain stuff to the rest of the scene. i'm sure you remember similar case from EuroQ2L where weirdly you didn't state your position in the argument (i can just guess why.. not so hard tho). now you can say that the forcing is allowed in the rules, but you know.. so it was in the past and seemed that people don't have problem with breaking that rule.

	Muerte we get your point. Stop it now. My opinion is that they shouldn't be _forced_ but if asked about, players should deliver. Not forced, because you know what happens if some top player just forgets to deliver the demo (and when things are forced there obviously is some w/o in that rule too) he has to give a goddamn w/o. After that top players loose their interest in leagues that assrapes them with rules, and whoopsyy - you have a league with non-top players - who wants to spec demos like that? (REALLY)

	just think about q2 out of box imagine future of any sport without TV teams start hiding match dates and no one know when or where they play. and only few ppl watch sometimes teams wont give rights for replay on TV. sux ? finally we have possibility with GTV to watch all games but if admin have opinion: public league shouldn't available to public...

And also all admins have different opinions about things wich is good for you if there is something you dont like then there will probably be atleast 1 admin defending your case. 	I understand zORRE cause I feel same, lost my intrest to play duels etc. cause of many kids stupid ambition who trying to prove of something, talks shit, whine on small things instead of enjoying the game no mater of outcome.. so tired of that. But still q2 is best shooter game ever 2 me so I play it even without motivation now, so no trainings etc. just enjoyng THE GAME! - zORRE you can do the same here.. or if you are leaving - it can be nice to see PURRI/syanid on your spot. Allways nice to see that players show - nice matches without whine etc. who allways respect each other and grats the winner with victory!

	Got nothing to do with discussions. If someone will replace, it should be the best player (in qualification) Since cleaner didn't even end 2nd in his group, he is out imo (he could have shown sportsmanship and played and win the last match). Optimizer left the league, no way he should be replaced now, it is a bit the same case as cleaner.. Not really great sportsmanship/motivation for duels. I bet my life anyone who creates the groups, you will always have whine from one side or another thats just how it is and always will be. Everyone has different opinions in players skills and so on. Whos a "key player" or not, whos inactive or not, whos skill level have reduced the last months etc etc etc etc etc. This is what we made and this is what you got. 	How can 2 players that isnt from the 8 "elite players" be called "key players"? Then admins would have placed covell and turri in that 8 "key players" spot from start, befor the qualifying rounds. I also think the groups are uneven and that group c includes more "less" skilled duelers then the rest of the groups.

	Jol, to extent, has a point. Why didn't you distribute 8 "elite players" equally among the groups? But on the other hand, let's face it, admins might have considered Turricane, Zorre, Covell as the "key players" of their group (which is again, subjective). Anyway, don't change the groups, since they're created already. But, imho, next time don't place "elite player" among groups unequally.
