Welcome to the Playoffs of European Duel League #7! Remember! There is not a single game worthless watching in this years' playoffs! So we will try to make this as awesome as possible. Ours (The EDL admin crew and the rest of the scene) request to the players participating is to upload as many demos as possible! Since we have failed our demolovers this far. And of course let's hope flag

kolt and the rest of the Demosquad crew gets the Demosquad working as soon as possible. Meanwhile you can still upload the demos and the DS crew will post a link to each demo since the error is in approving the demos, not in the upload. We also want to have the games SCHEDULED so we know when all the games are taking place, date & time, so that we can put up scorebots, GTV & reports.

We will also have a match of the week decided by 10 random players idling in the #EDL channel by the EDL crew, and THEY will decide wich game is the match of the week! And you will get a weekly interview from the both players participating in the match of the week!

	Werfwolf, don't look at the standings shown at the page, but look at the amount of points each player has. Ivers and Optimus both have the same amount of points, but Ivers-Optimus game was decided in Invers' favour, thus he is ranking 3rd in his group. Same case with DM-Covell. Although it is shown that Covell is standing 4th and DM 5th, they, again, both have the same amount of points, but DM was the one who won DM-Covell match. Thus, DM is advancing into the playoffs and Covell is not. Pay more attention to the rest of the info available and the rules, of course.

	wision, why this? a1 - d4: Damiah (a1) - ivers (d4) ! Why Damiah - opt1mus? Why provi - DM instead of provi - CoVell? Admins have other group results?

	My predictions are about the same as sovet's, I would just change some of them.. Damiah 3:0 Optimus Goat 1:3 Jol Provi 3:0 DM Raskal 3:1 Pepek Purri 3:1 Gerppa (rdm2 gerppas chance) Ibogine 3:1 Ivers Assassin 3:0 Careem Aone 2:3/3:2 Turricane (too hard to say, very even and I would really think that the last map is the desider in this one if both are having a good day) GL everyone!

	as muerte stated already (and it was mentioned also couple of times ago) the playoff tree is the same as last season.. which is: a1 - d4 c2 - b3 b1 - c4 d2 - a3 c1 - b4 a2 - d3 d1 - a4 b2 - c3

Keep the CREATIVE teasing coming, instead of those dull, reactionary ad hominem replies from some people. p.s. EDL seems to be about individual playing styles and personalities. Artificial notions of "nationality" may possibly serve some interest in NDML, et. al. team tourneys but serve a trivial purpose in 1v1 duels. Too bad teammates Jol & Goat play so early. With that said, some of the matchups look intriguing and much anticipated. I'm happy that Ivers and Ibo are paired, even if d1 is nearly a given for Ibo. A player like Ibo might push him to a higher level of potential play and make Ivers a truly "breakout" player. p.s.s. thoughtful predictions Sovet; I sense a big factor of unpredictability past this first round, more than any other EDL I've followed. 	The random choice of the map of the week is quite cool, but I can anticipate a few possible setbacks with this. What if 5 will pick one game, and 5 another? What if 3 will pick game A, 3 will pick game B, 3 game C and 1 game D? Oh, and the predictions.
