Since Assasin sadly got some computer problems and is not able to play his game vs Turricane, he will be replaced by ibogine who lost the previous game 3-2 vs ass. GL ibo and sorry for the misfortune Assasin!
Would be nice if there was a news section for the two remaining games on this page (EDL news page). So, an inactive player like me (who is not on IRC either) could actually from time to time come and see the date and possibly join to see the game.
I think this was the right decision, and if you don't play your matches right at time than you should drop out - everything is fine! It took one month for those poles to play their matches, considering they are playing all day in their servers! For that time new groups stages and playoff could be done... So lets proceed - I don't wanna final game in August!
sovet its simple like in other 'sports' Assasin is 5th in this EDL since even if he won match vs ibogine he couldn't continue and its same like he lost... (broken car, injury in boxing or martial arts, etc)
If the problem was reasonably serious so the game wouldn´t be played for like another 1-3 weeks, then the decision was quite fair. I have only one question: what rank will Assassin receive for winning Ibogine who now won Turricane? By my twisted logic, Assassin should share Ibogine´s achievement (e.g. if Ibogine wins EDL, then 1st place will be Assassin/Ibogine, 2nd Purri etc - don´t take this example as a prediction but a simple example of standing).
