Elimination groups online.

Signups are closed and the elimination round groups are online. And EDL #8 is ready start! Eight players were picked directly to the group stage And the rest of the players have been divided into 24 elimination groups. We have tried our best to make the groups as even as possible.
Here are the players that advance directly to the group stage:

The elimination rounds will take 3 weeks (1 week 1 round) to finish and it starts from monday 12.10. Only the winner of your group will advance to the group stage. gl&hf

	lux0r, exactly! Almost every country has own league like RDL or PLD. So it's so boring to watch (or play) games between the same players instead of posibility to gain a new experience

	Werwolf I understand your point but I don't think they look at nationality, only at quality. Nobody cares rly about what nationalities advance, as long as the best players advance. That is the point of edl!

	The elimination round has started, you are free to schedule your games with your opponents, easiest way for you is to use irc, quakenet #edl and speak to your opponents. And further questions can be answered easier.

	signups were supposed to be closed at 20:00 CET on sunday.. i notified players one hour before on IRC. and actually i closed the signups after 23:00, made the seeding, groups, top8, made it public on EDL site, and then ibogine queried me on IRC after 24:00 that he wants to play
