As some of you noticed already signups for EDL #9 are opened! Layout for this season is going to be very similar to the one from last season (elimination stage, group stage, single elimination playoffs), although it might change depending on the number of signed players. Before signing up beware that rules are not yet final. There might be some changes, but you will be notified before the signups are closed which will be on 30th of September.

wision) decided to take over this league for one more time despite my saying from last season. I will be accompanied by flag

	one thing for sure:ztn2dm2 should be removed.this is slow boring map.put duel1 or rdm1,or dont put any map instead of ztn2dm2,just remove it

	The reason I like them DM is because the maps force you to make fast decisions rather than given a lot of time like most of the other maps, variation is the key in a good map pool.

	The current maplist is good but if changes needed to be done i would change ptrip to rdm1. I am really glad that duel1 and match1 are removed.

	Regarding maplist. My vote goes to replace ztn2dm2 with q2duel1. I even prefer q2rdm1 over ztn2dm3.

	i would like that 1st stage elimination group to be made from 4-5 players instead of 3 and the first 2 players from the group to advance. Its kinda unfair for the rest of the players when u put one good player and 2 easy cunts... thats just boring since we already know who s going to win and tbh its kinda selfish and no fun.

	My fav map in Quake Live is now Aero, but one of my worst maps is aero in Q2. I wonder why? Aero just don't fit in Q2.

	duel1 is too much classic, every game has a duel1 map ) its in ql premium package already.. match1 is also classic... these changes are good, i hate ptrip as an example spawnrape map

	not to happy with 2 of my top maps being removed, can understand rdm7 but duel1 is a classic. hope you guys reconsider the map pool

	My argument for this would be distinguisihing the actual duelers from the non duelers. This is a duel league after all. This is done by analyzing what makes a player a dueler as opposed to a non-dueler. My answer to this would be tactical thought and being the superior calculator and manipulator. Aim is generic and done within duel and Team DM. Maps such as ptrip and rdm7 are maps that a Team player could easily adapt to due to the common spawn rape. Spawn rape is a large factor of team play which supports this idea. However, I will be the first to admit that to take this approach would be unhealthy for the scene right about now. If anyone else has any opinions feel free to fire away!

	Stop whining.If you want m1,replace it with rdm2,or duel5 with aeroq2 or something,but even now i think that duelmap list is fun enough ... maybe must be shorter ...

	Simple point. Removing m1 duel1 and rdm7 from edl list gives advantages for some players and of course disadvantages to others. My home maps duel1 and m1 removed unfair

	thank you all for you opinions.. my two cents: - new maps cannot be added (at least not so easily) on such short notice because we can't get them available on the servers - if you don't like aeroq2, match1 or q2rdm7 kicked out, then you can try to explain why do you think those are good duel maps or just have a fight with those who say it's good that we removed them

	switch ptrip with Aero. Is ztn2dm2 the one with the RA under the steps? That is better than ztn2dm3 imo. Match1 and rdm7 are tacky maps. Spawn rape maps are dull and unfair. You want maps that reflect pure tactical skill like dm3, dm1 and Aero.

	I cant say I like the map list. And I would have suggested to show the map list at the same time as you open the sign ups. A lot of people are getting disappointed. rdm7 duel1 or match1 should be there insetad of ztn2dm2 without a doubt. And people should also have the understanding that everyone will not be pleased. In that case the admins would need to have all the maps in the map list and then we have the other problem, to many maps. btw, nice to see dm3 back!

	It would be nicer if the admins could skip the first stage (elimination), and jump directly to group stage, so, many less experienced players have more fun and more games to play and why not more chances. I m not the only one that thinks this way, there are many persons that would like the same. HF and GL
