EDL #12 Has Begun!

I'm extremely happy to announce that signups are now open for the 12th season on EDL! Sign up , and send us an email at quake2edl@gmail.com giving us your current active email address. You should also hang out in the official IRC channel: #edl on irc.quakenet.org.

Always remember the official timezone of EDL is CET (GMT+1). Be sure to set the right timezone in your q2scene profile - read about it .

Schedule
Signups will be open until midnight on Sept. 29 and the season officially starting the week after that. We trying to stick with a similar schedule as last year having group phase go until mid-December then taking a break for Christmas and playoffs going until the end of January or early February.

Obviously this all depends on how many players sign up and how prompt they are at playing...

Maps
There is a map vote on the forum to finalize the map pool.

Rules
As always you should read and make sure you understand . There will be some changes but we'll let you know via email and a news post when they're updated. You should go to to discuss the rules and any edits/additions/deletions you think should be made.

	Recording your game by camera wouldn't prove anything. Video can be just as much manipulated as Quake 2.
