It's been a few years since we had to abandon the EuroQ2L due to a lack of clans and players. After asking around and receiving a lot of interest, I have decided to setup an all-star Team Deathmatch to relive some of that nostalgia that seems to be lacking from the scene.

Christmas is on the horizon and I know a lot of players like to travel to relatives or spend time with their family, so after some thought and consideration, I decided that the first weekend of December (Saturday the 3rd) would be an ideal time that could accommodate most players. However, if there is a high demand to play the weekend afterward (Saturday the 10th) then it could be rescheduled.

As the name entails, this is for division 1 EDL and any old-school players that wish to return for a frag fest. However, I feel a little guilty about restricting this to division 1 only, so if it runs smoothly and is successful I will consider doing an open pick-up for everyone to participate in the future. If you're still in touch with any players who you think would like to participate then please get in contact with them. I've seen Optimizer playing some games recently, and I would like to see a lot more of the old names returning, like Slippi, Thaigo, Offi, Welkin, Pogo, Mobius, Shugz ? not Careem ? or anyone else that springs to mind!

This is strictly a fun event to relive some quality Team Deathmatch with (hopefully) balanced teams. If you're interested then put your name in the comments below, and confirm that the date is ideal for you. I will try to start the games mid-afternoon and into the evening if possible, so it would be best if you turn up on IRC at #edl on Quakenet.

	No, the problem is that no one really cares. Was nice that some people put in the effort at least: Wst, Isbjorn, Blaizz, Damiah, AlexJ, Syanid (even though he didn't really want to play), and myself.

	Like i wrote No need for any system, because admins did good job splitting players in two div1 1st team Purri, Syanid, wst, AlexJ, kiru (rest of players by performance are not div1 this season) 2nd team Damiah, Blaizz, IsBjorn, (Numavezi, Ivers, Warrior depends of map) Anyway its left to check who would be able to play when they couldn't play official games for weeks because they to busy with life... ------ So who should ask all Div1 players when they all able to play? my grandpa? or 'idea mastah'

	@newash 1st its not admins post 2nd there is bunch of players from Poland and other countries who are ALL-STARS by performance in NDML, EuroQ2L, Edge and EDL league ALL-STARS teams in past was always chosen by vote and without Stars this is just pickup game

	Newash, it is regular tdm with dm1 and dm3 and quad etc. Also, the admins didn't write this article, I did, and I didn't mention David because 1. he's bad, 2. he's a cheater, and 3. last time I mentioned his name in an article he started crying like a 10 year old. David can participate if he wants, but to be honest, I'm not sure he's good enough anymore.

	Why its not a regular DM. I would love to see dm1 battle or dm3 with quad and 4-5 DIV1 players (I gues that may be the number of masters that will be willing to play at one time). 	Oh, I forgot to mention maps. We will play the 3.20 patch maps - dm1 through dm8 - and hopefully Next1, if it's uploaded to the server. Kaby: we will do captains, but I don't think we need to rank players by their skill.

	i'd suggest to implement a system of mix tournaments we used a year ago on Russian servers. the idea is that the strongest players become 'captains' and get numbers (1, 2, 3, 4) accodringly to their skill level. then they pick the players to their teams in the following order: 4-3-2-1-2-1-3-4-3-4-2-1 (this order creates the most balanced teams as we found by experience). ��: 2016-11-18 06:11
