Game to determine who will advance to top 4 in European Duel League version 3!

Started with Slonkens home map q2dm1. Many people, atleast on #edl.q2 channel, were convinced that Slonken will win this one with ease and Dimmo does not stand a chance. But hey, what happens? Dimmo takes lead and seems like Slonken has nothing to do against him. Some very important rails and whit of luck is enough to keep Slonken from gaining the total domination of the map. Finally Dimmo makes that little mistake and Slonken is back in the game. He quickly catches up with Dimmo and takes the lead. When Slonken has map under his control it turns into a deadly dance with slugs and bullets. Dimmo can not match up with fierce speed of Slonken, and he looses 14:5.

Q2rdm2 and Dimmos home map. Now reactions are different in #edl.q2 channel, everyone is expecting a rape by Dimmos side since he is well known for his talent to play this map. He does not let his fans down and he kills Slonken couple of times in first minutes of the map. Then Slonken slows down and tries to be sneaky, but that does not really help because Dimmo has seen all possible tricks opponent can pull and he just takes it easy and lets Slonken do a little mistake and rape is about to start. Dimmo knows the map and makes the frag difference almost rapish by winning 24:4.

Dimmo kicks duel5, ztn3 and q2dm3 and Slonken rdm7, duel1 and ptrip. That leaves us with ztn2dm2 to play. I'm sure Dimmos fans are again shouting and screaming, as Dimmo is not so bad on this map either, but nor is Slonken. I did not expect this one to turn out to a such a thriller which it certainly did. I would like to say, that one of the key moments in this map was the TOTAL OWNAGE of Slonken by ID Software and their bugs, or is this the map makes fault? Anyway Slonken somehow manages to find his way THROUGH the map, UNDER it, just when he's in middle of the fight with Dimmo and has 100/200 under his belt. WTF? Yes, WTF? Total LMAOLOLLER or what ever, Slonken drops through lift and crateres under the map. Hard to say what would have been different IF that would not have happened, but it did. Dimmo wins 13:10.

Now Dimmo is offered a chance to end this all. He gets to choose the "last" map and he takes q2duel1 aka aeroq2. That does not make Slonken any shaky, or scared - at all. I bet he was smiling like a Japanise sumo-wrestler after eating half of a cow and drinking 10 liters of best Polish beer, Zywiec! Anyway, Dimmo gets the beginning for himself as he makes the first frags. Slonken strikes back and does those few frags too and also some extra. Dimmo fires back and gets a frag back, but Slonken adds up some speed and Dimmo is dead again. Damn fans are crying... Well Dimmo shows that he's not an old chewing gum found from bottom of your pocket, but a hardcore quaker made from steel. He again makes a frag and is just one frag more behind. Another and game is tied, looking gooooooood... No it is not! Slonken makes what every swedish quaker does: not a, but THE comeback. He gets frag here, frag there, looses one for Dimmo again but never letting him to take the control over the map. Dimmo is able to come as close as 12:13 to Slonken, but that is all he will get. Slonken decides that fooling around is enough and he adds up some spices in his railing and Dimmo is going down. Final score 22:13 for Slonken.

Now Slonken gets the advantage to choose the last map. He does not hesitate as he chooses ztn2dm3 and game starts. I got some quick headache that came out of nowhere and I decided to go off from quake to let my brains cool down. I can not say what happened in this map, but looking at scorebot which was on in #edl.q2 channel, Dimmo got better start once again and 5 frag lead. Tables were turned faster than you can say VESIHIISISIHISIHISSISSÄ and Slonken is back in the game. He takes the lead and keeps it until the very end. Dimmo is beaten, but he has nothing to be ashamed of. Really nice game by both - today Slonken was just a slightly better. Good game boys! :)
