Gerdt's prediction fire was about 85-90% accurate -- he knew where Damiah was almost all of the time; he was in sync with Damiah's timing; he was even almost anticipating which weap Damiah would use! (Gerdt nailed Damiah's prediction position at ladder above SSG, never taking the bait and going up)
Pay attention from 4:45-4:00 where you can tell Gerdt is reading Damiah's mind by taking cover in the rail corridor, faking an elevator exit, then one, two, three rail shots to get a DEFENSIVE FRAG!
Maybe thg's correct about studying demos to gain an advantage?? Big flaw in that proposition: Why has Gerdt been only able to do it?

well very nice result of Gerdt on Ptrip. Best ptrip demo's on demosquad are from Damiah, so Gerdt could have studied every damiah's move and anticipate on this.
Study your opponent playstyle and succesfully anticipate on it.
give me opportunity to play gerdt, at least more entartaining than w.o. i would have slight chance to win anyway since i didnt play any duels since my game vs damiah but would be fun to play anyway

After all there are still 4 players left right now. You can say it's not fair for Gerdt but going to be finalist WITHOUT playing isn't an accomplishment after all!
Damiah, i truely hope you come back on this action. Your new job requires you to work 7 days a week/ 24 hours a day?
You need 1 day, 4 free hours to practice + play games vs. Gerdt. Just try to find a date, i think whole q2scene will be very disappointed and sad to see you quitting (temporarily) and not be able to see the expected (hyphothetical) final vs P.
About working times, if you need to work in the evening a lot, then try to find a time in the morning, sunday morning 7 o'clock :-)
You and Gerdt can work this out together.
And if Gerdt is in France (which you can't help) maybe he can wait one week or two before he plays this match (so Gerdt can practice 2 full weeks :-) ).
I think Optimus and Purri don't mind waiting for 1 or 2 weeks either and both prefer playing vs the winner of Gerdt vs. Damiah!
Gerdt will have one unexpected (whether it's good or bad for him) surprise, when he gets on the internet!
P.S. Purri, give Optimus a walkover too. We'll have a dream-time final of EDL. Don't get me wrong, not that I would be underestimating these players. It's just was kinda obvious for all to see Purri, Provi, Damiah in finals and now... =)
