and now my two cents: here we have one big comunity which is made by smaller comunities.. those smaller ones are nations or just clans, it doesn't matter that much. if there's a comunity of people who don't cheat and there's another comunity where people cheated before (don't really consider if it's serious as aimbot/wh or "just" using different players <to me they are both cheating btw> ), you can't expect people from non-cheating comunity not to think about the other comunity as a whole (hence people talking about russians). personally i also dislike the fact that russian players are all the time on ventrilo and speccing their mates' matches and switching povs all the time. and since some people are already suspicious about russian players, you also can't expect those other players to think nothing about your behavior.

I REALLY don't mean no offence. For me it is understandable! Thaigo is an ownaze mostly and respected player. He is your fellow country mate... I guess I support Opti (although he doesn't need it much) 30% because I am myself half russian... and 70% because I am strongly against thaigo's offencive behaviour! Now I will just express my oppinion on those cases of 'cheating' you mentioned. Me myself consider cheating an aimbot, wallhack, speedhack or whatever, and ventrilo-speccing, which is being incriminated to optimus/rage in this post. Just for you to know that we (I can only guess) have different points of view. Your so called 'cheats' for me are just "going against someone's rules". For you it could be "OMG WTF?!" for me it is just normal. 90 years of living under strickt Soviet rules with no freedom what so ever, was hard. People now have a mental overdoze of freedom. Need several decades to get used to it About UMD. He thought he was smarter than every1 else - got punished for that. Guy found a hole in 'rules' and used it. To my mind a fair admin decision... But labeling russians cheaters is WAY TOO MUCH for this case. Then RAGE clan: Due to different real life situations rage didn't have 4. WO wasn't an option. So guys from one clan, but registered in 2 different squads in eq2l teamed up to give a fight to the favourite, which was [*]. So they went against the rules, got cought on faking and recieved a very strickt, but deserved (imho) punishment for that. Everything would be "fair and square" if not for some VERY insulting, agressive and arogant comments on the topic from people who didn't have anything to do with both clans and even eq2l. As we know, every preshure creates an opposition. In conclusion we got a fight and "those fucking cheaters" in 'Europe' and "unfairly misstreated heroes" in Russia. This case is pure 'plebecitus' (hope I got the word right). Though I don't justify faking players, I still DON'T THINK this case is worth labeling most russians cheaters. Now optimus-turricane cheating... I read almost all the posts on that topic (thg made me do it !!!) I can point out Gravgon's posts. Reading his explanations really created a desire to do some asslicking. Fully agree with his justification! And post scriptum: it wasn't the q2 community that labeled optimus a 'cheater' but an (imho) pretty unfair and onesided decision of head admin and a party of influenced by different factors (nationality mostly) suckups (sorry, I wish I could find a non-offencive word for that in my vacabulary ... but mi no inglish). "...he could just tell about it to turri, but he didn't...". That could be an impolite behaviour at most (if not lazy, read Gravgon's posts - 2 or 3 big ones), typical for many people, but I would never call it CHEATING. After going through that topic I assume that the majority (I'd say about 2/3) of 'those days' q2 community agree with me in this case.
And what is happening now? Thaigo is summing up 3 totally different, even in some ways contravercial, cases and does "silly math": Mother Russia is GUILTY! I get an impression that he (or you, if maybe you are reading the stuff I wrote) don't know if intentionally, plays the facts to get a desired impression. Politics do it all the time. Studied sociology and psychology a little and noticed some similarities to political dirty tricks in his posts...
OMG I feel myself pretty stupid to have wasted so much time typing this... but wanted to express my oppinion and do it the most precise way I could. I do really hope that it will maybe make some people reconsider their views... or at least be more understanding towards other people.
And one more thing... PLEASE don't reply with silly jokes and insults I once tried to be serious about something and am hoping for decent attitude.

This is not the first time Russians get caught cheating in edl. Remember last season or was it 2 seasons ago, anyway:

The guy playing the game always leaves vent before the start of the game... So any rage guys can specc whomever they want and change POVs as many times as they want. Guess it's thaigzos "witch hunting". Lame like Edge vs purri... Btw agree with careem's 2-nd sentence "wanna see demos"
It's not just this match. It happens every time when someone from rage is playing duels. Other ragemembers are speccing and when u say that they shouldn't spec opponent, they say "ok ok" and then same thing happens a minute after.

Well played by nubtimus, but admins should seriously do something to those rageteam specs. They are always speccing their players game and change pov all the time and their reputation as cheaters is well known.
