well wrong, you are easily going through the group stage, the question is on what position? Anyway after all it's players responsibility to take care of his own games, schedule and play them. All players whos games are forced now failed to do so originally and thus the games had to be forced. Now it becomes again players responsibility to be on EDL channel at the time of the game and look for your opponent. Admins usually try to see who's online and who's not and decide on that basis to whom the w/o should be given. Wision said on the channel all of the players nicknames, trying to find out if they are going to play their games or not. If he's not getting any responses, then he draws his own conclusions and that's that. Anyway if you did pm serj at the forced time and have the proof to back it up, then the w/o can be changed so that you do get the default win.
Edit: oh and it seems that this was 4th w/o for serj and he will be removed from the league..

Actually 1day cups and leagues are the same, the only difference is that you need to be fully active and fast during the cup.

Nice attitude there. As I said already you should do little things like pm them, send them a reminder. Well, this is at least you can do if they are at irc. Slaping at irc channel isnt just enough. I have an example where Syanid actually pmed and gave me a reminder afterwards i played my game with jol.

you don't really have to tell me about admin's responsibility and what his job is.. i hosted couple of one-day tournaments and leagues and there's no way you can compare those two since those are two completely different kinds of competition events. If u see me idling / talking at irc why dont you ask me about our game? I mean, the guy which is at irc ACTIVE [idle respond 2secs?] at the time shouldnt get w/o at all.. At least I did so at BDL leagues... And admins at EDL should do this as well because this is a part of a job. Be an admin is a huge responsibility. Admins job is to take care of participants and league / cups. EDL is so small league, there is so low number of participants. Why dont u take care of them? If I'm an EDL admin I'll do the job like it has to be done. If I will see presentation of a player without his opponent on the time. I will msg him and ask what is with his game, where is his opponent and so on... I mean, this is at least admins should do at so small community. I have joined plenty of time to huge 1day cups in QL where is even much bigger responsibility and they pmed me each round if they found me at irc. This is at least I can say something on that and simillar situations. The job which are admins doing IN EDL are nothing compared to the real admins job.
The admins responsibility is huge and if you cant stand pressure then please resign of the admin crew!
the trick is to talk to admins on the forced time, not the next day. We can't know who is doing what, unless you tell us. I'm sure you know this? You are allowed to play the game still, as long as you get serj to agree on it.
dude i was playing q2 since 18 cet till 1am ... i was also talking at irc all the time.. dunno if I noticed that you highlighted cos every time someone highlights me for a pcw at #plus.ql or at #quake.si and pms about to have esl / cb and some other leagues we are singed in with our clan in QL. So I did not pay attention... Maybe would be better if u PMed me or something. This i could at least notice.... Also he have every group game w/o, why do you think he would have showed up anyway? really stupid
you are supposed to talk to admins on forced time or at last 20 minutes later (you were even highlighted 1 hour after by me and you didn't answer).. your only activity registered by me was 5 hours after forced time and yet you still didn't talk about this match.. next activity was around 11:00 next day when you finally started to talk about this match.

i have talked with wision, i have been searching for serj, i have sent him a pm, i have played my delayed edl on this forced date, i was fully active at irc / q2 at my forced match.. i told everything i wrote here to wisin already =)) but seriously, u guys must be kidding me
