Alpha kept saying that he wanted to play somewhere else, but you kept saying you weren't good at English and just decided to play there and left. Also Alpha, playing on dfla with 180 ping vs. 277 isn't fair to Sniper either. You would both ping the same to Texas or dfil. To be honest, you both should have gotten on IRC or the q2scene messenger to schedule, and since the first round ends on the 7th, you both had plenty of time to do so.. Edited: 2012-10-04 14:46

I think players not able to authentically present themselves their flag of country in a league like EDL, must be obligated to then tell where he/she is from. I guess an Admin can enforce this if the player won't do it willingly. ..Welkin? Alpha: Credz you endured the high ping and didn't quit early or smth. However in future, if similar issue occurs, have these in mind. 4.2.4 If the players are not able to agree on a neutral server, they may play the game "home/away", meaning they instead agree on two servers. If possible, the ping advantage on the first server should be similar to the ping advantage on the second - preferably no more than a 30-40 ping difference in total. 4.2.5 Players have the right to refuse to play on non-European servers, but are encouraged not to. 4.2.7 When a game is played on "home/away" servers, the home team's map is to be played on the away team's server, and vice versa. 4.1.9.2 For games played "home/away", the player who has earned the higher net value (of score) in the match, may choose either the server or present the opponent with two maps to choose between. 	Lol that doesn't even make sense. I don't have to prove anything. I am a noob at this mod with very limited experience, i joined just to give it a go. but i didn't expect someone would refuse to play on any other server and need a 320 to 120 ping advantage.

	fader sums it up nicely. if he had played me more even pings and i lost, it wouldn't even be an issue. would just be gg. I just took his word for it when he told me pinged 300 to ALL usa servers. (i did not know where he was from, i thought brazil) that wasn't true in itself because he was 277 on dfla, so he may have well pinged 200/180 to say tourney or something.It appears he is russian, and i have seen a few russians ping 180 to servers like dm or railz. so he would have had asimilar ping to say tourney Edited: 2012-10-04 07:20

	You could have played in Texas; you'd both probably ping about 200. Not that I'm saying the outcome would have been any different, but it just would have been a lot more fair. This may be the European Duel League, but that doesn't mean that you can't play on other servers that aren't European to get a fair game.

As i said you refused to play a second game reverse ping. thats why i didn't even play the 2nd game. I wanted to play on those other servers i listed but YOU REFUSED EACH AND EVERY ONE. You even almost refused to play on dfuk. What other choice did i have to play you there? It was quiet clear it was either your way or the highway. But if you think 320 ping vs 120 ping is fair all the best to ya. You wouldn't even play a reverse ping match on dfla. 	Another question to ask is what was his ping on those servers. Why did Sniper change his country flag from "Brazil" to "other". It makes it seem like he's trying to hide something.

	@ newash these are the servers i offered to play him at with my ping included at those servers 69.9.168.4:27930 tourney4 usa (ping 260) 69.90.189.186:27910 dfla usa (ping 189-200) 67.228.69.114:27930 tourney usa (ping 210) 74.86.171.204:27911 irtdm2 usa (ping 210) I even had trouble getting him to agree to play me on dfuk which i ping 310-320 as you can see from the screenshots. the 2nd game we went to dfla I had 189 ping he had 277. it seemed fair to me considering the first game i played on the 320 ping. But he refused and went back to dfuk.
