All Playoffs Started

After tweaking div 1 and finishing 3 and 4, all playoff trees should be set and you should start playing matches as soon as possible.

There was a shortage of players in 3a and 4b after kicking out players with huge numbers of warnings so the #5 player from the opposite group was given the #4 spot in those cases.

Remember to post your availability on the match page, not just "where are you?"

Remember map selection reverts back to the "pick pick kick kick" system for playoffs! Read section 4.2.2 in the rules to clarify how maps are selected and played during playoffs.

Please be considerate of others, holding up your match stalls the entire playoff process. I hate giving w/o games in playoffs, but we can't hold up everyone for you to wait for the perfect day to play. In other words, try to play your games as soon as you can.

UPDATE - we would like to have each playoff round last about a week. But this first round will last until january 26 or sooner if all games get played.

	i was thinking that instead of kicking maps, players could pre-select their best and worst maps. instead of strategically picking a map an opponent is bad at. of course that could also be exploited but just thought i'd throw it out there. maybe someone can improve on that concept.

	I'd buy a cheapo mouse from Best Buy to check. Or you can borrow one from a friend.

	This shows up in my windows event log file. Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-PnP The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device SWD\WPDBUSENUM something with the plug n play. i gotta look it up.

	yea i tried switching the ports same thing. i ordered a new mouse. if it's the mouse that's the problem (because it is old). i'll have to disconnect all the ports and troubleshoot to see what is actually making the computer connect and disconnect from the USB. thx for the advice.

	Try a different mouse using the same USB port. Your mouse might be dying on you.

	i don't know exactly which USB port or driver is causing the problem. it doesn't show anything disconnecting or trouble in the device manager. perhaps the event viewer? i dunno.

	i always get computer problems when i have to play in a tournament or something. call it murphy's law i guess. However perhaps someone can help solve the problem. my windows 8 USB configuration seems to be screwed up. it freezes my mouse periodically which would make it impossible to play a match. I keep hearing the USB sound as if it's connecting and disconnecting something and it's freezing the mouse. i tried deleting and reinstalling the drivers for USB in the settings. i scanned for malware and viruses and picked up nothing. i did a scandisk to repair the computer startup problem. I thought it might be the hard drive. it's working fine now as it did before but i still get USB tones and mouse freezing. i checked to see if there any metal connector pieces inside the computer touching or if its loose. i don't see anything. so i really don't know if it's something on the board physically A( which is possible because another asus board had the network disabled when i would touch the piece). it's a new board, so i doubt anything is touching it. any ideas would help me get back running smoothly.

You were sent reminder emails on october 30, november 25 and december 21. There was a final email on january 12 explaining that you would be kicked if you didn't do something about it. We shouldn't have had to work that hard to get you to follow the rules.
