On Ceba's, IsBjorn's, K1ru's and my behalf, Id like to sincerely thank you for signing up and participating in EDL this year. The Quake 2 scene has definitely gotten smaller in recent years, but hopefully we can keep it alive for many years to come. I know that were not attracting new younger players and all of our lives are getting more complicated with jobs, spouses, kids and other real-life responsibilities. So taking time out of your busy life to play really means a lot and we all appreciate that.

Wed love to get some feedback from both players and spectators as to what we can do to make things better/easier/faster. Anyone have any ideas for next season? Leave a comment.

	If the edl will have admins to run it this season(hope so), I would like to see bo5 in the playoffs and in the final with 2x bo5 with the loser bracket system. Also I sugest to have maximum 7 maps,bc I am very sure the players will show much more skill wise and knowledge of the map, bc they will train on less maps. This elements could go in the direction of a much more intense and entertaining games to watch and the whole quake comunity will benefit from this. And if a person will have time to convert some entertaining demos to videos,from the actual season,and upload them to youtube(atlest 1 per week) maybe our old good game could atract some comebacks in the scene or even some fresh blood. 	Salad, everyone wants a short league, but it never happens. And there is very little admins can do about it. Last season player had to play about 8 games + playoffs. There are just few players that can play more than 1 game per week. I stopped hoping for short leagues long time ago.

	Gerdt: DS is a great site, but the upload process is just too cumbersome. It's hard enough getting games played, it's just too hard to keep track of who needs to upload what and get them to upload using DS. As it is with the current demo site all players have to do is click on a url in their email (or irc), pick the files and click upload - and half the time they still don't do it.

	For the new seasons id like to see that best of 7 grand final system gone.Old school system with loser bracket is better. I agree with removing the least played maps too,q2rdm7,bloodrun n q2dm7 should be gone What dueling method?

	Thanks admins and players for subscribing and playing their games, this unique game should never die. I agree with Syanid, i think there are to many maps in the pool, especialy for a game in wich players are mostly innactive. Most guys dont have time or the same motivation to pracc whole maplist and perform great on all of them. When voting begins for the next edl map pool it should also be announced on mainpage q2scene.net 1-2 months before league starts. I also think it should be much shorter, it shouldnt last more then 1 and a half or 2 months imo, cause ppl subscribe but after few weeks they loose interest. Is anybody instersted in an summer quick league? maybe one weekend contest, like ADL or somethin similar? c12 had an nice ideea about some dueling method maybe he can share his thoughts here, peace
