OPTIMIZER LEFT THE LEAGUE, umd's case doesn't connect with this...optimizer and thg just acks like a kids, and cleaner is just a victim of patterish...
on this way we lose 3 top players (all ndml / euroq2l players - thaigo give up because map list - optimizer - > umd use fake nick (account) in official league ( dx baned form euroq2l using fake nick) - cleaner ( victim of nubadmins)
with this admin attitude EDL will become some random 'gipsy' league where is normal to lie cheat etc...

cleaner is not some pussy hiding player he play euroq2l/pq2l. he is also ndml player for poland and he is not hard to find
rul, there is just 1 hour with mine and patter's clock... and 3,25cet is not early for anybody who lives in europe... by the way u r true...yes rules says everything and if patter wants to play they can play that match if he doesnt want they cant play... everybody knows that but my opinion is if he plays that match that will be better for us to see some more tourney match... but again i say; if he doesnt want to play there is nothing to do more

It's simple that Cleaner fucked up his own buisnes... Why? Cos he should shedule hes match, or msg admin... But he didnt do it, and he shoul be on time, when match was forced, and he didnt do it as well. Last thing what Cleaner should to do, is asc Patter @ irc to play hes match in other term(i'm sure that admins will agree for that). But he posted few msg's with big thunder.
Im not saying that cln is not right. Im just saying that he fucked up... and now noone know whos right.

Got nothing to do with being a man or not... I can also tell you 'be a man and waste 30min of your life'. If it's true what patter has said then he should not play this game.
cmon ppl. Rules are rules, what will happend if this guy will not be a Cleaner, but some other player? I doubt that here will be so mutch q2 bloggers and spamers.
Rules are clear in this case, cleaner should be online @ this hour, or if he cant be online, he shoul reshedule his match with patter, or at least msg some admin.
Other pint is that, fair person should agree to play the match, but NO ONE have to do it ... AND NO ONE CAN FORCE ANY PLAYRER TO DO IT! - R U L E S.

IMO: If you must play, decide on three things at the start: the rules of he game, the stakes, and the quitting time. BTW: There is 2 diff. ppl types in q2 - the 'kids'(no matter how much years they have ) who take q2 so close in their head(trying to prove something, have emotions/whine, stupid bullshit talking about small things ABOUT THE GAME that didnt change a real life at all) and the ppl who just enjoy the game by playing it no matter of wins or loses. ENDING: Play the game(the leagues made for that) on other date - enjoy the loseing it by takeing fun! +exp from a game maybe u win next time cause of that(die happy! ). Or just win it if u can. And ofc. dont forget to RESPECT ppl. (C)
Btw, since this thread receives a decent amount of attention, I will note for future reference: in terms of forced date, you cannot play a match on that day, and later will claim that you looked for your opponent, it is easier to notify an admin about that, so there will be a neutral party with power to confirm that.
I am not blaiming anyone atm, I'm just saying that this kind of act will prevent a lot of "misunderstanding" in the future. Admins are here to do their work, and, rarely, they actually do it. So, talk to them in cases like that before the deadline.
nrk i get your point really well, i was thinking the same, but how can anybody knows who speaks the truth, maybe patter has been searching for cleaner, and vice versa. No way you can prove who has been doing the right thing, both knew when the deadline was. If the game havent got played before that and you know that you cant be there on the deadline but have been searching for you opponent then you contact an admin and ill bet we would work it out just fine.

You all know this is a social "coming away from reality" type of game community, and that's why I think leagues shouldn't only rely on some written rules.. Cuz I think some "community rules" are broken when people are starting to talk about their personal lifes and whining "you are a fucking nobody without a life - q2 24/7" kinda bullshit.. Every one has a life next to this q2scene, I just think that we could play this game without having troubles like these. And I don't get why these problems occur in such an old game like this when there's not any money involved - only peoples free time.
As a conclusion I would like to say patter that: play the game and show us you are worthy to play the game, and ppl stop fucking flaming, it doesn't help either parts and makes yourself look stupid. Thank you for you time!
This is a much as i know as an admin, i have no idea who has been searching who more than the other. Both could be lying for what i know. All i know is that the one that reported to me on the exact forced deadline was patter not Cleaner. From this my decision. We will look into this with the other admins as well since Cleaner complained.
People jump now too easily to conclusions in favour of cleaner. You can't just say 'you should play the game' after someone doesn't show up on the forced date.
1. I was at #EDL from 17.00 CET this day 2. Only time i talked with Cleaner was 1st week, and then i said to him that ill play in proper week not earlier cause i havent played q2 for a long time, after that i didnt saw him in #EDL

Omg, Cleaner allready showed sportsmanship in his match vs zorug (reffering to the thing I posted earlier about that match), so this is about patter's sportsmanship.
Now he knows he would be in the next stage and tries to say that cleaner is a moron and don't want to play the match even if cleaner has been the one active asking for the duel..
patter was this your goal, to wait until the forced date and hope that cleaner wouldn't be around? I'm not judging how good you are in terms of duelling (it could be very equal game) or anything, just pointing out that was it your goal to wait and hope for an easy win?
Admins should take this match under discussion before this breaks out to be another EDL-history "opti-turri" dispute. (which then was nicely worked out by admins and both players at the end)
1) The game was forced on Wednesday, the 3rd of December (with enough time for both players to see the date), but Patter was the only one who showed up at the forced time?
2) Did Cleaner try to reschedule the date, since it was not in his favour, but Patter refused and wanted to play particularly on the forced time (with both players' logs to see, who is telling the "truth" ). Or was this reschedule talk active prior to forced date and Cleaner was simply unaware of this forced time?
Alas, if second issue is the case, i.e. Cleaner was not concerned about forced date and didn't show up, then Patter has the right to claim w/o and b*tch about it.
If first is the case, i.e. Cleaner wanted to reschedule the forced date, then admins' crew will decide the matter (I guess).

You should SCHEDULE a game, not just ask if some1 can play at right this moment. Did one of you ever get an agreement with the other to play at a set time and date? If not, none of you should get a w/o. Should be 1-1 at most.
