The first acstats entry was from when I was trying to show people that if you edit anything in a client, it WILL kick you for a violation, but since nobody paid attention to me, they got all up in arms about it.
The second through fifth ones are from some russian program hosted on q2.ru that was supposed to make your ping higher, but kicks you for a proxy. You should probably tell st1gmata or whoever the admin on that website is to remove it. Even though it's not a cheating tool of any kind, it shouldn't be hosted anywhere if it kicks you. It was an honest mistake that shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Everyone with a brain knows that Fasadin is a stronger player than Adrenaline. People just constantly see pings and maps, but I see player ability. Like I always said, it's not what you do, it's what you are capable of doing.

However, a European who has agreed on home/away before the game starts, can't change his mind and take it back midway through the game for whatever reason. Teioch: Timers are banned on most American servers, but they should work on those servers that were previously named "digital frags", and the tstournament servers IIRC.

I disagree. Different players have different game characteristics - strengths and weaknesses, both technical and mental, if only marginally so - and not all maps come natural to a player. This is a big influence on a player's potential and ability to master a map, regardless of whether or not he has spent time practicing it. <- no you don't dissagree, you just have it inverted. Learning maps does only take time, what you are talking about is the application of a players style to certain maps. For example, people who play a more fast aim based play style will obviously adapt better to some maps than others. but ultimately, anyone can train them kind of styles, in fact they are a prime example of when I use the phrase 'new school'. People who can plow through a map and spawn rape really fast with a nice shiny aim and nothing but people who have just played too much. This is something anyone can do, it just takes time, patience and a lot of motivation. What I look for in a player is hardened experience, brains, coherence, logic, creativity. These are the virtues that make a truly good player.

The truth is, my self confidence comes from the fact that I see Quake 2 in a lot more depth than most, hence why I am writing a very detailed guide. Being a top player isn't about winning duel tournaments in a dead game containing tacky maps. It's about understanding, knowledge, and this, I know personally, is where I excel more than anyone in Quake 2. Maybe I'm wrong? But every time I enter a server, or IRC, I get proven how childish and stupid the Quake 2 scene is. And this is the whole reason why it continues to decay from the inside out, never gets any new players, and never evolves as a game.
Truth is about maps, is I can play any map I want, because learning maps only takes one thing, time. On a side note, most people call me dm1 only, but if you look at the EDL scores, most people can only play 1 or 2 maps themselves, it just isn't dm1.

What are the foreign maps you're refering to? q2rdm2 and q2dm3? Cause that's the ones you won, and they're actually only half the number of non-dm1s that you played this season. I think you're a far better player than most people give you credit for, and I'm sure you have the potential to be a better player than you've proven so far. Though that would require some work from your side - both with your actual game and with the mental part. The only reason I play on EU servers for my matches was because I used to ping 90 to dfuk. Adren lives a little more midwest, so the best he pings to EU is about 130, which is higher than what most Europeans ping ping to America.
Also, it says in the rules that you can refuse to play on European servers anyway. Doesn't mean you should.
Rule 1.1 & 4.2.5. It'll have to be up to each and every opponent of a non-European, whether or not they wish to play home/away. All players have their own reasons for playing, and not giving them the option to do home/away makes no sense. Though I don't think it's fair to instantly flame and harass a European who is not interested in playing overseas, as home/away is a poor solution to a problem that we currently see no better solution for.
