Grats to purri, really strong performance overall season well deserved win! Blaiz did a really good season but last game on duel5 damiah pulled out some insane chain action that acctually took him to the finals, and i think Blaiz was deserved a finalspot as much as damiah. Its nice to see that the new div1 players like kiezer alexj doing really well and belong in div1. Still i hope David consider signing next edl. I think a short newspost about the final and who won on the edl site wouldnt hurt.
Two finals already that ended up being BO3. It's kind of depressing, so I hope next season we have a better format for the grand final match.
Also, thanks for putting on a great final, Damiah and Purri. It's always fun to watch our favorite two Q2 legends face off against each other! And congratulations to Purri for winning!

Every player or fan who is not burdened by nationality or frustrated how many times lost to purri or Damiah want to see more maps between these two players in Grand Final because its holiday for eyes and feel robbed because only 3 maps are played

purri witch i played most of all players in last few years who even asked me could i use his old GFX, and off season playing on my home server all maps even one he never played before (showing how he is nice and polite guy)
Blaizz ztn2dm2 ruler who let me to connect to his PC to help him to fix driver problems (from start to end season he double his fps in game) and coming and playing 2x2 with me in team
IsBjorn who sent me his whole quake2 folder to help him fix textures problems when he try to change q2pro, and who for year playing duels with me with low damage weapons trying to make duels interesting

David, didnt ragequit this season at all and I read about the map thing before the game, but when I asked Ceba about it (becouse the rules said otherwise) he said it wasnt like that. That is why I was confused.

I'm feeling like "robbed" because expected five maps game with edge as final map
Whole game started weird with Damiah who hit just 3 rails on omf and purri who had 10 unanswered frags on omf
on rdm2 purri started with bunch of "careem rocket jumps" playing more impatiently then expected in final game
but after game become clear why is purri was that confident (witch i and most of spectators and Damiah and also admin Ceba didn't know)
purri had already 2 maps advantage (by "news rules" even if admin in game Ceba before game stated :

so while Damiah was thinking he is back in game on rdm2 and surrender on ztn2 to play rdm1 to tie (witch is won last season final) and play fifth map in final
purri already won by "news rules"
turned out Damiah is after EDL 14 and 15 two time "loser" because with same rules he would won EDL 14 with 3:1 (where didn't had any advantage except to be home team) and lost EL 15 with wrong map choice misled by admin interpretation of rules
purri was clear better on ztn2 and omf new map witch proved that is one of useless maps with items wrong placed giving player in control huge advantage, so come back is possible on same skill level only by huge mistake of player in control
unfortunately EDL site had several crash this season and with old backup overwriting everything so instead to final game be played by rules its played by "news rules"
casting in pair is a tricky thing to do. i'd rather not take an unexperienced co-caster for the final match. but broadcasting now is easy (technically), anyone can try and learn if he's willing to. it's not about the viewers number in quake 2 anyway.
imho join casting should do syanid, wst, myrmidon or even thaigo, Gerdt (both alive and kicking) who are more then qualified to give expert opinion
if we already have low quality streams at least no need for more " engrish experts" while spectators try to recognize weird ugly quake2 sounds of streamers
