There was a week without any activity in EDL which was caused by me being really busy. Unfortunately this will continue one more week and after that (starting 29.11.) I will continue to force games. So I hope you take these two weeks as a chance to play more matches and reduce the number of walkovers in this league, which is on its peak since ages. |

After first round there is still a lot of unplayed matches! All of them were forced on tuesday 20:00 CET.
We are trying to make this season finish quite early, that's why we decided to have two rounds per one week. Round number one was an exception, but from now on, every even round will start on monday and end on wednesday and odd round will start on thursday and end on sunday.
Another thing we would like to anounce is that top five players from each group will advance to playoffs (4th and 5th player will pass to first round of playoffs.. top 3 players will pass straight to second round, where they will meet winner from first round).
From above you should already know that the deadline for this round is wednesday 13.10. 20:00 CET.

Feel encouraged to send your screenshots via email to q2dedicated@gmail.com with proper subject "league shortcut - team 1 vs team 2" for example: "EDL - wision vs litrium". This way feels more comfortable for some players and some admins too. Now let's hope your mails won't be considered as spam :).

Sorry for the delay, but the groups are finally online. Deadline for the first round is sunday 10.10. I would like to ask players to idle on our IRC channel #edl@quakenet so everyone can reach their oponents easily. |

As some of you noticed already signups for EDL #9 are opened! Layout for this season is going to be very similar to the one from last season (elimination stage, group stage, single elimination playoffs), although it might change depending on the number of signed players. Before signing up beware that rules are not yet final. There might be some changes, but you will be notified before the signups are closed which will be on 30th of September.
Since there was noone suitable for the headadmin position I ( wision) decided to take over this league for one more time despite my saying from last season. I will be accompanied by  Litrium and  Careem who will be match admins.

Hello fellow quakers! As it was mentioned after last season, we are looking for new headadmin for EDL. So far noone suitable for this position showed up, so we'd like to highlight our search for admin again. If we can't find someone who can run the league, it is possible that we won't have another season of EDL this year. There's also a possibility that somebody from previous admin crew will change his/her mind and become active admin again, but that might not happen as well, so if you want to see another season of EDL and you would like to help q2 comunity, feel free to /msg wision on IRC or via q2scene messenger! |
