At the start of the season, there were over one hundred players wanting to show their skills and to show the world who is the best and who is worth being called the champion of the EDL. After half a year and hundreds of heavy battles and thousands of frags, the winner of EDL #7 arises from the crowd and takes the title of the best European Q2 duel player of 2009.

Since Assasin sadly got some computer problems and is not able to play his game vs Turricane, he will be replaced by ibogine who lost the previous game 3-2 vs ass. GL ibo and sorry for the misfortune Assasin! |

The playoffs have been continuing for 6 weeks now and we have seen some really nice matches so far. Some players have shown really good improvement in their skills and without a doubt, surprised the spectators by their performance. Also we have seen a underperformance by a few players which is a disappointment, but also a good hot chili spice to mix up the traditional power balance between players.
Currently we are standing in position where the first finalist Purri is ready and waiting for a challenger from the losers bracket, where we have just 4 games left to go before the grand final:
Jol vs Ibogine (0:3)
Assasin vs Ibogine (3:2)
Ibogine vs Turricane
Ibogine vs Damiah
