Looks like the start of EDL is followed with bad news after bad news.. this week there have been a cheater caught during the EDL match. The cheater is  frequencer who used wallhack in the match against  xawik, he also admitted that he used it so there's no need of putting here the proof. frequencer is kick/banned from EDL and all his matches will be turned into w/o.
Second issue we got here is about player spil who was using teamspeak/ventrilo with his friend wns during the match against CoVell. The only actual proof we have is the log of spil admitting that they were talking to each other during the match, that's why we've decided to only turn this actual game into w/o and give spil a warning. From now all spil's games require an admin to be present. |

Today we have been hit with a bad news about shuugghh who doesn't want to compete in EDL. shuugghh will be replaced with  Pogo and we will put  Gerdt to elimination group instead of Pogo.
As we can see this season we have incredible number of players and I would like to ask them to read the rules and inform them how to tell us about their games. After you play your game, you can contact any admin on channel #EDL @ Quakenet. If you can't find any admin online or responding on irc, you can just send the screenshot to me (since I am online all the time) via DCC or if it doesn't work just upload them to and send me links in query and I will add the game as soon as I will be able to. You can also try to send them to some other admin but I can't guarantee if they will receive them since they are not responding.
And one more thing.. players DUUGGSTAH, brush and Tweak07 set proper flag in your q2scene settings please.. thanks. |

Since syanid has too much free time and feels like he needs to release some of his ideas on the "paper", he wrote about EDL#6. Part 1 is about some predictions and advices to all players. Signups are closed and we welcome you to the EDL#6 elimination round I! This season we have 114 players signed in, where eight of them were picked directly into the group stage and the rest of signed players have have been divided into 24 elimation groups. We tried to do our best and divide you evenly, so don't stone us if you don't like your elimination group :).
Here are players who advance directly into the group stage:

There will be 4 weeks for elimination rounds (1 week 1 round) and only the winner of the elimination group will advance into the group stage. Deadline for this week is Sunday 09.12.2007 @ 21:00 CET. For better information read the ! So and have a fun playing them. GL!

Just couple of seconds ago, syanid opened the for EDL#6 and you are all welcome to join this season! You have your time to until Sunday 2.12. @ 24:00 CET.
NOTE: Channel of the EDL has been moved to #EDL, please remember to change that to your IRC-clients perform, so you wont be idling on the old channel. |
