First round in European Duel League 5 is here! We have a new record with 66 players signed up for the league.
We have some changes compared to last edl. First of all we got 3 new maps, rdm1, match1 and q2duel1(aeroq2). The maplist looks like this: q2rdm2, match1, ptrip, q2dm1, q2dm3, q2rdm1, q2duel5, ztn2dm2, ztn2dm3, q2duel1 and q2rdm7.
We also got 2 divisions with 4 groups in each division. 4 players from each group will advance to playoff and the playoffsystem will be like this: a1-b4, a2-b3 etc..
We are aiming to end the group stage after 5 weeks. That means that 2 of the weeks you need to play 2 games.
Deadline is also new for this season, the deadline is on MONDAY in this case 26/3 21.00 cet.
Here are the games of round1. Schedule them as soon as possible and remember that you can play more then one game per week so you dont have to play 4 games last week before playoffs. Good luck and have fun!

Your waiting is over, EDL #5 is here. We have some changes in the tournament. First of all we will have 2 divisions. We will also have a few other maps, the maps will be: q2rdm2, match1, ptrip, q2dm1, q2dm3, q2rdm1, q2duel5, ztn2dm2, ztn2dm3 and q2duel1.
We hope that this season will be as good as last season. I would also like to welcome empitrii to the admin crew. Syanid is also back in admin crew and will help as much as he can. Pogo and myself (ph) are also in the admin crew.
We decided to add a rule about using id, ID will be off this season.
Otherwise it will be the same as last year. We will see how many who will signup, first after that we can decide how many groups in each division and how many who will advance to playoffs. We are aiming to finish the league in the beginning of may. What are you waiting for? Signup!
The maps arent 100% sure yet, we will make a vote if we think that some map is missing or that some map shouldnt be in the maplist. Please write a comment if you miss any map or want to remove one of the maps in the current maplist!

Topic says it all.
However my fellow quakers, please share your thoughts about the maps, what maps should be removed and what maps should be taken in?
This is not a vote, this is a open discussion which I will consider when it is time to write down the rules.
For example, what is your opinion about aeroq2? q2duel3/q2rdm5? q2rdm1? Is q2dm2 too campy? |
