6th Euroq2l season is about to become to an end. A lot have happen and many interesting games have been played. How ever league started in the beginning of October and now little over 3 months later only four games are left to play. Or maybe 7, you can play bronze games too if you want, but if you cant find motivation to it we understand it.
7 teams are still fighting for 1st place in their division, and here are the Final pairs, and little overview about them.
Division I:
Final:  Wizards [3]vs.  Play [2]
Bronze: 2.0 vs  tOk: will not be played
Division II:
Final:  TAK! [3] vs. mdt [2]
Bronze: CD [3] vs  IS [1]
Division III:
Final: H [3] vs. LmW [2]
Bronze:  ecf [3]vs.  nmt [1]
Division I:
Swedish play already advanced to the finals after beating 2.0 in three maps. They are getting their opponent from other semifinal pair, which is Finnish Wizards and Polish tOk. That game is delayed a week, mostly because of one persons working times, but we all can agree that semifinals deserve the best lineups from both clans. And I believe play have more flexible playing times so final will be played very soon after next Sunday. At least Im hoping so.
Division II:
Before the league there was a lot of fuzz who should be in Div1 and who shouldnt. TAK! has been dominating 2nd division in former leagues but still they found themselves in Div II. And again we see them in finals. Another clan who was left without 1st division place was CD. But they surprisingly lost against mdt in a playoffs thriller. So we see mdt in final with TAK!
Division III:
Overall Division 3 was totally controlled by two clans. NMT in Group A and ecf in Group B, but guess what, neither one of them is in finals. Two Group A clans surprised them in semifinals, which naturally were both 5 mappers. (what a lovely semifinals we have had). H raped ecf on dm7 (152-88) and that way won the 5th map. Also NMT got beaten in 5 maps and 5th one was dm7 which went to LmW 139-134.

Division I
play, >
Every time play joins to league they automatically become one of the biggest favors. And this season wasnt different. Even tho their lineup wasnt the same what we have used to see. They still had very strong lineup after recruiting ph and pogo from stop and two best Estonian players  Hirzu and shugg. From old play we saw mobius, squix and senti in action, tho only mobius is active at the moment.
play looked very strong in their group when they walked from victory to victory, losing only 2 maps in first 7 games. On 8th round Wizards got revenge in regular season and beat them 0-2, and that cost them first place in Group A. Before facing 2.0 in semifinal they got w/o win over 3m in quarterfinals. Personally this 2.0 game was far from expected, mostly because of 2.0 lineup. But for sure play deserves their place in Finals but it might have been another 5 mapper under different circumstances.
Wizards, [Wizard]
After handicapped last season they got provi and legenda back from army and in first time they had all the best players available for this season. But Legenda fastly got his hands full of school and was unable to play at all. So it left Provi, thaigo, syanid, Foen and Sotasankari to fight. Even tho Wizards lost 2 games in regular season they won Group A. Both Wizards and play were tied with 19 points, but maps against each other went to Wizards 3-2 so they took a first place. In playoffs they faced another Finnish clan KTA in first round, and got smooth 3-0 win over them. In semifinals they will be playing against tOk, which is scheduled to 14th January, and a reason for this you can read above. In these playoffs Im not sure about anything anymore, but Wizards should be a favor in this pair but we have seen what have happened in other semifinals.
Team Online-killers, tOk
tOk has became the best polish clans, at least in this league. They got 2nd place in Group B, after HBQ dropped out and 3m forfeited a game against them and that way gave up their position. But lets not forget their impressive victories over 2.0 and HBQ during regular season, so they have for sure showed what they are capable of. In playoffs they walked over BoD without any problems and that way earned their place in top4. In semifinal they are underdogs for sure, so they can play without any pressure and surprise quake2 world.
Division II
TAK!,TAK!
After dominating Div2 years, TAK! once again showed that they really are one of the best clans in div2 for sure, and also maybe deserves a place in div1. They are still unbeatable in Euroq2l-6, and have only given away 4 maps in regular season. Twice dm2 against v3, once dm1 against IS and dm7 against mdt. Are these maps their weak points? Maybe, but for sure we know what their strong point is, The Lava Tomb a.k.a. q2dm6. I can almost assure that every div1 clan would have problems against them on it.
They have pretty much raped everyone there, and the most impressive win there came in semifinals where they ran over IS 208-39. And watching that score you would keep IS very weak, but the truth is that this was only one map out of 5 in semifinal against them. TAK! hardly advanced to finals, but managed to win deciding 5th map against IS (142-118). So once again they are aiming to get Div2 trophy.
Mors Dicit, [mdt]
To me mdt was totally unknown clan before the league, and I wouldnt mind to put them to div3, but that only proofs how good my polish scene knowledge was (is). Luckily we got help from plq2 administrators when we were making groups.
mdt played a smooth regular season, and then got fire in playoffs. They are coming to Div2 finals from 2nd place on Group B, 7 points behind TAK! which is quite a lot in such short season. They won 4 games and also gave a way 4. Including two losses against TAK! (maps: 4-1), so they are for sure underdogs in final. But we cant forget their 3-0 win over ttnm in quarterfinals and especially not forget 3-2 semifinal win over CD. I honestly dont think that many believed to it, but it was enough that they believed in it. They were a bit better this time, or to be more specific 1 frag better, since deciding 5th map (q2dm6) ended 104-103 for mdt. Can they play on same level in final too? We will see.
Division III
Hunters, [H]
Same story with H than with mdt, I didnt have a clue on what level they are. With a help of plq2 admins we placed them to div3. Another good choice, they fit well to it and had interesting games during regular season. They lost twice to NMT and once against their finals opponent LmW. In playoffs they got w/o in first round, but then surprisingly won ecf on semifinals and advanced to playoffs. This league definitely hasnt been good for Division winners, so far 4 out of 5 have lost in semifinals. But this is like every other sport, you make you name in playoffs. Only goal in regular season is to advance to playoffs.
Lamers must Win, LmW
The last clan to introduce for finals is LmW but in my opinion they are a clan who surprised the most after beating NMT in playoffs, who totally dominated regular season. Even that Thuggee couldnt play in semifinal, because of connection problems NMT should have won it, but LmW played the game of their life and won NMT in five maps. Dont know was it a game of their life and maybe Im the only one who is surprised here? Anyways in regular season LmW only won 3 games and lost 5. But one of those wins came against H, which is good news for them and for us. Now we can wait even final on div3
