Allowed Servers

Reminder: Signups are open until the 4th February @ 21:00cet

Now when there is about a week left before league starts Ill write news about allowed servers. To say it simple, allowed server is a server which has anticheat.dll forced. So far we have managed to contact most of the serveradmins and they agreed to update their servers. Tho there are still few potential game servers which are not allowed at the moment, but we are trying to get them up to date.

Just in case, if you still dont have r1q2/EGL/Aprq2 nor anticheat.dll you can find instructions from . And for serveradmins who are planning to update their servers, instructions are

	Fle: Evah ( aka 4ever ) is the head admin of cool.hot.ee servers. Every decision concerning the client enforcement, mods etc goes through him. He can be found at #quake2.ee. In the matter of fact, I could try to speak to him myself persuading to drop the client obligation, but leave ac forced on. KPAH: I do not support the decision of banning players myself, but the forced stuff connected to AC is for the better and more fair competition. AC is not perfect, but the best cheat protection tool our small society has at the moment ( Thanks to R1ch ). The EuroQ2l ( as well as the CB cups ) is not just a random fun game, it's a tournament and I believe it's an obligation of the cup supervisors, admins to make it the fairest play. Partizancho: Talk to 1day clan people. Morpheus is already enlisted. ;]

	Yes. GTV can run if IP is in exceptionlist. No. Admins can't add it, serverowner has to do it.

	Jou, I was aware that, but on 2nd KTA battle doesn't have AC forced. So you can play there with what ever client you want.

	Inferna KTA Battle # 2 has ac.dll too. 130.233.24.172:27920 is the adress. Though maybe it's enough that one of the Battle servers is in use.. One the other hand there can be some other cup match at the same time, so just as an notice that there is one more battle server.

	hmm, just wondering why you need to have anticheat.dll forced? Isn't it enough to have it enabled, this way players who cannot run the anticheat due incompatible OS can play there outside cups and it also allows GTV to be present for better coverage. Then just type aclist in console to see who has a valid anticheat.dll if leaguegames are being played. Anyway, just my 2 cents.

	EUnet servers are in Serbia ... with bad ping for most europeans , i for instance have around 60 - 70
