We have reached third round in group stage and got some nice games coming up. The deadline for these games is 25/2 2100 cet. Schedule your games as soon as possible.

Now for some news:

Sadly flagtOk decided to leave eq2l because of ping issues. All their games will be transformed into w/o. :(
Also clan flag42a will get a warning for using a fake player vs flagxF (flaglin with other nick). Lin will also be warned for faking, but nothing more since we believe he didn't know the game he played was an official cw. Because of this the game 42a vs xF has been turned into w/o win for xF.

Another thing to notice is that we made flagLyL change their clanname after many complaints from polish clans since it meant something like "poles are stupid", they are now called OWNED instead.

Finally a reminder for all players; Please make sure you have no modified models BEFORE your games, since this will take time to fix. Join an anticheat server and type acinfo to see what models you need to remove. GLHF!

As we all have seen during the past few years there are still cheaters among us. That is the reason why AC is forced to this league, and that is the rule, what all players must follow.
Unfortunately we don’t have admins to every game to check if everything is right, so this leaves that responsibility to clans.

So, your opponents have all rights to ask you to fix your quake, because you are the ones who are breaking the rule, not them. And for the millionth time, you knew that AC is forced in this league when league started, so you had plenty of time to get everything working, but I guess it is much more fun to whine and cry than actually do something to avoid it.

I also don’t think either that anyone from tOk or TAK! cheats but that is not the case. Why would better clans or more trusted players get special rights? It really isn’t that hard to remove your modified models and get clean Quake.

yes Dimmo *.pl server didnt check models.. but is it problem? tok wasnt cheat, they never does, and never did.
btw we plaed our game vs tak and we lose, 3 of them had modified invul model, damn ! they should be banned !

dimmo I didn't know that, either way I'm using pak downloaded from net, and I didn't modifie any file in it.

So as I understand 32bit models of weapons or skin don't need new md2 file? Just original one ? So why someone bother to change it in this pak: http://terminus.kernel.pl/~zator/dl/pak96.rar ?

platon please confirm me that you understand following:

name.md2 = model file
name.pcx/png/tga/jpg = skin file

skin covers (paints) the model

skins can be edited how much you ever want

models cant be edited. they must be 100% from original id software q2 3.20

GT7, im sure cause we played against them and 2 of their players had modified files. After our game they played vs KTA(I was observing) and they still had those files and refused to remove them.

I've entered Dimmos server and guess what? I was kicked due to modifed models. Now tell me, why the hell I should use the same models as you do? Maybe lets force everybody to use mine. Second thing is that I don't even know how modified (that's mean different from yours) models could be a cheat, maybe sb explain it to me.

If I want to enter some of this AC protected servers I need to remove my last pack with 32b weapns models.

I think lyl was a fun clan name and it got even funnier now when it became forbidden. My next 2x2 team will be named as lyl('n_kolt_2).

GT7: maybe polish servers dont check models. dediz battle and btf anticheat showed that 3 of tOk players had modified models in their last game

There is sth called the spirit of fair-play and admins job is 2 take care of that.
And yes ppl play q2 coz they wanna have some fun - now think how it may look like when polish clan meets that childish .lt lyl clan in those circumstances. U still think its gonna be "fun" ?
Btw have u ever seen anything similar in football or any other sport? (Pls dont tell me that e-sport is not a real sport coz its the same when we r talking bout the spirit of fair-play).

Didn't get that part. People play q2 because they like it? For fun? What are you trying to say?

It's a game and in most games people like to tease each other. To me it's just like someone saying "you're a noob". It was just some (childish) provocation imo and I don't really understand how can someone be offended by that.

But as you can see, they got their name changed so no reason to whine about it.
Btw you can name a clan "Gravgon sux" or "Belgians are stupid" or whatever, I'll feel very honoured.

Since screens arent up you cant see it, but one of 42a's players on the last map had ping 30 or something while the others had 110, so he obviously wasn't playing from siberia. I wasn't there during the last map so i can only trust what the other admins have told me, but ph and otpek said lin actually said afterwards that it was him playing.

wtf, i didnt fake 4 no clan, that is a mistake and i want to delete that. i know that otpek (the new eq2l admin) lied, because i caught him when he allowed 42a to play vs. xF, even they add some player last sec ?!? i said to him that is against the rules and past him rules 3.3.1.-3.3.5. and than he was a smart ass and baned me from his channel. since otpek become admin his ego grow up too much, he is allways rude and think he is better than others now. and who da fuck is otpek ?!? this is the first admin ever for me that has so much problems with others players. dont like that.

ps. maybe he dont like me/us because croatian and slovenian politics dont like eachothers. but that is bullshit to me, i like all nations so please leave that out of game!!!
