dx and Awesome busted

As you can remember, we took the decision to ban player dx at the beginning of this season.

It appeared that clan Awesome played all their games in this season with flag

dx faking as "emtihead" or "emti". This means clan Awesome used an unallowed player. As a result, all their games will be turned into w/o's. The sanction for flag

dx was a temporary ban, it will now be changed into a permanent ban.

Here are all the proofs gathered:

1. Server log from "Das TAK! Quake2 Teamplay", the server where clan Awesome played

Screenshot of a DNS resolved for dx's ip on IRC and then the exact same ip for "emti" speccing the 2x2? semi-final.

dx was banned last season for his behaviour. We are fully aware that his behaviour was better this season but there is not point to a sanction if it isn't enforced.

	You just magically deleted the whole context and mixed sentences from different discussions that happened at different times. I checked the logs myself, most of the lines were said as a joke but maybe you got your infos wrong, check with your filthy spy soul. Pasting logs from private chans is already the lowest of the lows, the last resort of a knocked out lamer. Pasting random logs out of their context is just laughable. Discarded! 	I'm all with OhYeah. Those logs don't say one thing. I think most people could have already guessed that Gravgon and others don't really love the likes of most + members. But as far as I can see this is not BECAUSE they are Slovenian or BECAUSE they are + members or whatever, but simply because of things that happened in the past ... 	Just as you know, that is private admin channel where everybody are free to share their thoughts about everything, if I say there that I hate for example Damiah, we dont ban him because there is absolutely no reason to do so even I tell all the reason why I hate him. Sure I admit, it might be true that some of admins hate all plus guys and so on, then why didnt we ban whole clan? It would have been much easier. But like Gravgon said there i don't like necro at all but we can't ban him just because of that :p. And I must say few words about that CB game. Im 100% sure I copied an IP from match channel and connected and got kicked from it because I didnt have NC and I had 90 ping too, your pings might be 30 or so, I dont know how you ping on your home server. Maybe it was wrong server, but I didnt stay waiting another one because you followed the rules and forced us to play on your homeserver because we were late. So we accepted the rule and forfeited the game, because it wouldnt have make any sense to play with those pings. So no one broke the rules and that is it. We have had that one game with lots of whine and bad memories and all because your connections didn't work well that night and that could have happened to anyone. After that or before we have had pretty much no problems. Our 2nd euroq2l match went smooth and in CB match we forfeited without any whine and we also haven't played any pcws. 	Oh my, oh my. Awesome put all eggs in one basket (easter-pun intended) and got caught. Just take the punishment like men and move the fuck on, what is the problem? I can't for 1sec understand why you are whining like little babies on the admins when it is CLEARLY you who have broken the rules. You say that admins "hate you" and so on, but it is clear why; admins don't like troublemakers, cheaters and fakers. Because of that, there are rules to regulate this league like everything else. If you break them you will be punished. You don't even try to whitewash yourself (except Maxy's funny ip-excuse) which is quite impressive to see. It also says that dx really did fakenick and you all knew it. So there really is not much to talk about in this case, as I said: you did put all your eggs in one basket and you lost it, don't whine, just take the punishment.

	Avis: you have shown that you dont care if your team standing in spawn or just fooling around and Im talking about Finland vs Slovenia NDML match over a month ago. And maybe that is exactly the problem why you all are so loved. Things what you seem to think are OK and allowed, at the same time majority from q2scene thinks the opposite. 	Okey. I feel I have to say something too, altough as you know I've been really inactive as an admin lately. I've adminned matches in EDL, NDML and EuroQ2L. All these leagues are run by very nice crews. Then there are the players. We as admins probably like some players more than others. I have huge respect for guys like provi and Damiah and Purri. No, not because they are top players. Because they are PROFESSIONAL. I know it's only a freaking computer game, and moreover, a 10 year old one. But still, these guys make our job enjoyable. After seeing an awesome clanwar between two top clans that runs smoothly, without any problems, you really feel "wow, I feel great because I got to admin this game; and I love how problem-free everything was". You'd never expect someone from 2.0 or eA to go lavadiving or blaster-rushing if they suddenly started to get owned in their best map. They would probably scream at eachother in ventrilo. Maybe an occasional "lol wtf". But they'd play the game to the end and you'd see "GG" after the game. With respect to themselves and the opposing team. I'm not saying sometimes their egos don't get the best of them... I know we've had our problems with some Polish clans, and the language-barrier contributes to that problem a lot. But still, t0k and 3M guys come and play their games, and they do a pretty damn good job at that. Altough there can be some problems communicating with them, I'm always happy when top .pl clans enter our league. And then there are a few players that for some reason always end up on bad terms with us admins. I don't think I need to name names - you all know who I'm talking about. Guys, we've given you chances to amend your manners. We'd really like you to play in our league(s). Really, honestly. But again and again you screw up. You behave like morons. You have no respect towerds your opponents or the admins. How can we then respect you? All we hear is complaints, excuses and insults. You say euroq2l = scandiq2l. But maybe there is a reason for that. You guys could learn A LOT from top scandi players (or top polish players). How to behave. When to make jokes and when to be serious. 	Its very clad that clan 8 was removed from league. THis season i saw 8 clans to fight for TOP place and i really hoped very dramatic play-offs there every clan can win. Now, one very good clan has been removed from tournament becouse they are too good?!? I would say that all started because of their lavadiving showoff against play in first round, and that game had nothing to do with lagging. They just started to laming around because play was better. After that happend that wizards game when their pings jumped up to 150 in mid way through second map. You can read more about if from that games comments. No reason to start that convertation again here. And one more thing, soul, who was a plus member, also was in our adminsquad, but sure he was inactive as hell and his only purpose there was log our convertations about plus and share them with his clanmates, so he was really useful! 	Alright, we're back at it so here are a couple of things many people missed out here: 1. EuroQ2L is a free service. Playing in it isn't a RIGHT, it's a privilege. Obviously you're not aware of all the work which has to be done just to add the score and screenshots from a game to the website. It's a service that a couple of people do. Do you realise that even posting a news item on this website takes quite some time? Now think about it, you do a job for free and one of the people who gains profit of that job (a player of the league) constantly insults you and even have the guts to disrepect the job you do for him ?! Isn't it normal that this particular player isn't allowed to profit of your work anymore? That's exactly what happened with dx. After that, he thought it was personnal... OF COURSE IT WAS PERSONNAL! We provide free service to someone, he profits of it and then spit to our face. As a result, he's just denied that free service. Quite logical if you ask me... 2. This season, in the very first newspost, it's stated that dx is banned. In the same newspost, there are all the signups infos. Clan Awesome decides to join the league knowing 100% that they'd play with dx in their lineup (spare me the ip story bullshit please, of course emti and dx are two different persons, the difference is that the real emti hasn't played Q2 for the last 5 years or so). Clan Awesome behaved well during the whole season, no problem with that. But then, some people bring evidences that emti = dx. You think we'll play stupid and let that continue? THAT would be biased. That would mean players of the league could never know what to expect from admins. 3. The most funny part, the conspiracy theory: It's been a habit for that particular group of players to pretend all admins dislike them, that we want to give advantage to scandi clans, that we hate croatians, etc. etc. Imo it's a weak argument that you use to make of you martyrs. But whatever, I'll still try to prove you wrong although I'm pretty sure you're totally aware it's wrong... As you have noticed, there is one top clan in the div1 playoff that isn't scandi at all -> 3M. They have good chances to win this season, do you see us banning some of their players or turning their games into w/o's? No, because 3M just plays by the rules and don't make any problems. If a player from a scandi clan behaves like dx did last season, he'd get the exact same treatment. And a scandi clan using a banned player would get the same treatment as well. The only thing is that it doesn't happen. Only you guys do that, your nationality doesn't have any influence on that. Imo it's a vicious circle: you break the rules, we punish you, you think it's personnal, so the next time you break some more rules to get your revenge, and you get punished again. Maybe it's time to realise the problem comes from you in the first place. 4. Last thing: some people thought it was funny or weird that dx can play in NDML. That's exactly my point, why would dx (or anyone from Croatia) be banned from that league when they did absolutely nothing wrong there? It just proves again that it has nothing to do with us liking/disliking players or clans. It's just math: rule = if A then B, fact = a --> then b.

Reason why they are out is that they used illegal player in clanwars therefore those games where they used that player will be turned into w/o. And I have a hard time believing that dx/emti just HAPPENED to get the same IP in a span of only few hours. Next time try to use the usual explanation that they're playing from the same computer, and that they are brothers. I don't think that admins had any other option than to remove the clan from the league, because they had violated the rules in purpose. My point is: 1. Dx was banned because of his behavior last season, that means he should not have played in this season 2. Clan awesome played with a player who is not allowed to play in the league and they must have known that this emti is in the fact Dx. That means they cheated as a Clan, and as a Clan they should accept the consequences they knew they would face IF they got busted. 3. They got busted, they are removed from the league. 4. End of story? Would it be so hard to play by the rules for once? If Wizards, 2.0, play>, eA or any other nordic clan would get busted from playing with a banned player, I don't think they would get to stay in the league either. We are fully aware that his behaviour was better this season" That's why we didn't investigate or whatever. But now some people came to us with evidences, so what should we do? 	Optimizer: Reason why he was banned for this season was his continous bad behaviour during last euroq2l. And here is the quote from news before this season. Sanctions: 1.4 Any behaviour taken by a player to intentionally harm the good happening of the league or one of its match can be punished with a sanction ranging from the warning to the definitive exclusion of the league. This rule was already added last season, however I decided to highlight it in this news item because the Euroq2l crew decided to exclude 3 players from the league. Putka, dx and Careem are not allowed to play with any clan in this season after breaking the rule mentioned above including bad behaviours towards the admins and other fellow quakers. This league is organised by people who take their free time to do it, it's therefore understandable that those people don't want to do it for players who don't respect them or the job they do with this league.
