Here we go:
Q2DM1:
From the first minute play took over the control of the map and taught sYnth how to play on the Edge. sYnth tried hard, especially on the railbeach but purri aka railmonster was too strong here. Outstanding score and impressive teamplay on Q2DM1 by play. Nice show!
Q2DM2:
After the raping on Q2DM1 i was a bit disapointed about the way the war could end. But sYnth showed me that i was wrong. Though the first quad went to play and the lift was under control by play for the first 9 minutes play did not managed to take a greater advantage of this. Following 5 minutes lift was under sYnth's control and they managed to tied the game and even took the lead until play got in control again. But they could administrate their lead to a all in all comfortable win on Q2DM2.
Q2DM3:
Now it was again play who choosed the map. Keep this in mind! First Quad and Invul went to sYnth. So they could take the lead from the beginning and managed to get most Quads and even two more Invuls. I never would have believed in sYnth's victory before this map started but it seemed that sYnth gave all they have. From time to time sYnth showed humongous teamplay which was the key for taking away play's map.
Q2DM6:
sYnth's choice. I wondered why sYnth choosed this map because of the impressive skills play showed on this map. And so things ran its course. Quads were leveled but play dominated RA and was able to start fragging with big advantage. With purri and mobius in good shape on this map sYnth's tries to break the dominance were for nothing. So surprisingly both teams lost one of their maps.
The deciding map: Q2DM8
SYnth got the better start by collecting the first powershield and took over the control of the warehouse. The frag difference about 40 frags from the first 5 minutes were too much for play. Even if play got in control they were not able to reduce the frag difference massively. With five minutes on the clock it seemed that play lost faith in their chance to turn the map.
Conclusion:
Thx to both teams for a great show without whining. Man of the match: I think there were two: Scooby and purri.
Very good games, well played both! Hope to see you again in the next season! Congratulations to sYnth and play!
