Welcome to 12th season of the most awesome Q2 4v4 TDM league! Hopefully you are all awaken from summer sleep.. If not, then now is the right time. The signups for this season are opened until 20th of September, so you've got enough time to sign your clan in. Layout of the league will be announced right after the signups are closed. Don't forget the usual stuff like fixing your clan info and squad list. Now hit the button and see you during the season!

	Same as Cheimera, I play QL because there's a lot of people playing it and it's easy to find a game. But every time I play, I can only think about how bad it is compared to Q2. PS: I'm looking for a clan to play EQ2L with !

	only reason why i keep playing ql is cause i can get a bloody game whenever i want, without waiting 2 hours on a server. Otherwise there is not a game that can be compared to Q2. As purri said QL TDM is not that exiting. Very true the tp is horrible, 1 or 2 maps suited for tdm in ql. Ill rather play Q2 for sure. But something has to be done to get the interest back on track for sure.

	I personally would like to change in Q2 a netcode to unlagged (cpma/ql - like) and maybe I would like to add new modern models / textures. This could keep Q2 scene alive. Ah, and also I would like to update Q2scene page with some modern codes or lets say basic things. Like to click on given url / embed links (youtube) etc... I was talking with someone inside ID about unlagged netcode. There is a possibility, but I dunno how this will affect q2 players.

	Quakelive is fun for sure. But it's not even close to Q2 when it comes to TDM. The current maps and tdm scene in QL is not so exiting. Thats why I still want to play Q2, just cant compare. Edited: 2009-09-11 04:04

	i won't be so sure if we mention that id adds an oportunity to create you own quakelive server for cash, and so more people can play with lower ping, and also the beta tag will be took out from qlive pretty soon. however i keep on working for quake2 untill at least few ppl play it. 	Don't say that! Quake2 will never die! Maybe now we have to blame Quake Live, but trust me Q2 players will be back! We have to continoue with our tradition and keep the scene alive. Soon or later the Q2 players will be back as always!

	doubt it, atm only 4 clans signed for a new PLQ2 season ;], as far as i know most of the clans who always played in EUROQ2L have problems with players, like v3, bod, m-c and more. Maybe FF will sign in but they will be kicked out of the league after 3rd round as always ;] I heard that we will have only around 14 clans this season in PLQ2 and it isnt to much if you will compare that with a previous seasons. I think we can expect maybe 2-4 more clans from Poland, gsg9, ds, mtg .... hard to say quake2 is dead Edited: 2009-09-09 16:21
